26/3/2020 13:04 | Unable to make a bear case. Probably under 30years old ;), not realising that property almost always does well overtime (that means decades, not one or two years). Probably sitting behind a desk watching your short position get wiped out. Cash | cashandcard
26/3/2020 13:00 | No need. The market is doing it for me. Sit back and watch the show if you like. ..but I am actively participating. | 1 pound here we come
26/3/2020 12:52 | 1 pound, Its notable you actually have no case whatsoever. Just comments about age and youth. I dare you to make a reasonable bear case - go on try it. Cash | cashandcard
26/3/2020 12:50 | 1 pound, I'm a lot older (unfortunately). We are not living in the late 80's or early 90's - yes their have been dry spells - but these are short term moves. Over the longterm, housing has always come round. The only real bear case housing has is population decline or destruction of finance for housing. Neither of which is likely. Too much of our national wealth is tied to property. Successive governments have not and will not allow it to fail. Cash | cashandcard
26/3/2020 12:48 | cashandcard26 Mar '20 - 12:45 - 2425 of 2426 0 1 0 1 pound, In a society that flourishes on buying, selling and renting houses, I see that as an impossibility. Short term disruption yes, but not longterm. This blip will be over in a couple of months. Cash ..ahh, the innocence of youth. | 1 pound here we come
26/3/2020 12:47 | Yes, definitely under 30. | 1 pound here we come

26/3/2020 12:45 | I can only presume you are under the age of 30 Cash. | 1 pound here we come
26/3/2020 12:44 | cashandcard26 Mar '20 - 12:42 - 2421 of 2422 0 0 0 Bricks and Mortar always makes money. Short term disruption will be over once Boris takes us out of lockdown and then viewings will begin again. Do you seriously think people will stop buying houses? Cash | 1 pound here we come
26/3/2020 12:42 | Bricks and Mortar always makes money. Short term disruption will be over once Boris takes us out of lockdown and then viewings will begin again. Do you seriously think people will stop buying houses? Cash | cashandcard
26/3/2020 12:39 | How is their business "solid" Cash? What is their "industry"? | 1 pound here we come
26/3/2020 12:28 | 1 pound I wouldn't want to waste a doctors time right now. You have yet to convey a decent bear case. My bull case is that short term disruption should NOT be the basis to wrightoff an investment like this. They have a solid business and are a leader in their industry. Cash | cashandcard
26/3/2020 12:25 | "Bricks and Mortar never fail to make money over the longterm. What you'll find in a month or two when people are back out on the streets, viewings will go through the roof. Do you really think people will stop buying houses because of a virus? yes, some disruption short term. But these will be back up to where they were if not higher." Cash Not good Cash. See a doctor. | 1 pound here we come
26/3/2020 12:23 | Lol. Classic case of denial Cash. | 1 pound here we come
26/3/2020 12:11 | tradeforce, I agree, it should not be in the same bracket as Sainsbury's. However, this is the property market - the holy grail asset for any government. They will pull out all the stops to ensure it absolutely functions otherwise they have a crisis on their hands. The US fed is now promising Quantative easing forever - a good whack of that money printing will go towards buying up junk mortgage bonds - which should help mitigate underlying risks in their housing finance market. The UK will, if need be, follow at some point. Bricks and Mortar never fail to make money over the longterm. What you'll find in a month or two when people are back out on the streets, viewings will go through the roof. Do you really think people will stop buying houses because of a virus? yes, some disruption short term. But these will be back up to where they were if not higher. Cash | cashandcard
26/3/2020 11:47 | Don't expect the bulls to give up the fight easily. They are like screaming children having their toys taken away from them. | 1 pound here we come
26/3/2020 11:36 | Buyers today are backward looking. They cannot accept the new reality. A very financially dangerous position to be in. | 1 pound here we come
26/3/2020 11:29 | Oh. How long will the ensuing recession last GP? How long will Agents at home twiddling thumbs last? How long will zero viewings last? In your humble.. Lol, tradeforce. One will survive the next two years, the other will quite possibly not. | 1 pound here we come
26/3/2020 11:29 | So you think a simple web portal with now no new listings or working agents is worth almost as much as Sainsbury's??? Please offer me a bull case... | tradeforce
26/3/2020 11:24 | Chaps, you're all too short term focussed :) | growthpotential
26/3/2020 11:19 | Same valuation as this time last year..... Nothing changed?? A few 1000's less shares in circulation... | tradeforce
26/3/2020 11:13 | The p/e is close to 23 just now. IG tell me. Lol | 1 pound here we come
26/3/2020 11:06 | This is a very fickle stock right now. I wouldn't be at all surprised to see a closing price here today sub 460 or even 450 ..as reality strikes back. Which as you rightly say - it WILL. | 1 pound here we come |
