Last time i looked at the broker forcasts they had $420M penciled in so the current
$390M with a slight drop in Ebitda, is hardly the disaster you make it out to be.

Today R1 has announced a positive trading update and the continued restructuring of the business with CFO Ed Reginelli resigning and being replaced by Mark Zorko. This is consistent with continued execution of R1 financial plan focused on accelerating growth and profitability. We retain our Buy and 770p price target.

The problem facing RTHM right now is that underlying revenue growth is generally seen as the ultimate driver of future profits in ad tech.

That was a large part of what the analyst / broker notes were beating the drum about here, but alas those dreams have been shattered.

We have just had revenue projections shrinking by 25% in the last 9 months alone, if you take $360m-$380m as the new credible target for FY19, versus $480m in the recent F4 projections.

That must raise all kinds of questions about the viability of the business going forward.

So where is the forecast adjusted ebitda going to come from?

Sharply increased margins would probably be preferable to drastic cost cuts but in the absence of revenue growth they both look like providing a one off and possibly short term boost.

RTHM is currently valued at £169m, which seems pretty high for such a perennial lossmaker.

We will see what comes out of the H1 report in November. Meanwhile the best policy here seems to be to stand well back from this falling knife!

"The only folk who are going to make money are those who buy and hold for the long game."

Like the ones who held when the share price went to 50p (pre cons) last year..before it's long decline...

Did you see one of the brokers has reduced their tp to around that sp, one year on...

Last week was a good week for traders..

I would have thought the comment below would have been a better fit with the share price chart and bulletin board activity on TLY?

Sikhthetech, if you think that R1 is a traders share, I believe you are very much mistaken. The only folk who are going to make money are those who buy and hold for the long game.

LOL

There are no profits.

Of course if you acquire a business and exclude the cost of buying it from the adjusted EBITDA then adjusted EBITDA will rise.

It's a con trick.
