28/9/2018 12:24 | JonC, Yes, a TU rushed out... Revenue being below expectation is a worry.. Given revenue comprises fill rate, volume and price, without KPI table, we don't know which metric is behind the fall in revenue... .. | ![]() sikhthetech
28/9/2018 10:38 | Short to zero. | ![]() jonc
28/9/2018 09:28 | They managed to give revenue estimates because it's not volatile..but they couldn't give KPI estimate... they not volatile either... | ![]() sikhthetech
28/9/2018 09:26 | In case that last pot came across as sounding negative, I should add that R1 is well placed due to pixalate ranking and other governance measures implemented since 2014. | ![]() wheeze
28/9/2018 09:23 | The whole ad sector is becoming a quicksand - predictability just doesn't exist anymore. Results could surprise to the downside as easily as the upside. Aside from the big two in the game small players will find it increasingly difficult to survive. Consolidation is perhaps the only answer ? | ![]() wheeze
28/9/2018 09:20 | wheeze you hit the nail on the head there selling stock they don't own just what Blackrock were doing when STT got caught out and lost it all and now as a personal vendetta against his company and anyone else associated with it. Sato believe he once believed this would be £400 a share within 18 months but then again that was before he got caught out with Blackrock and their short selling | ![]() football
28/9/2018 09:18 | Lets face it stt companies would be a lot more transparent if not for rampant short selling at the first sign of any negative news. If you got a kicking each time your personal finances were not growing year on year, it wouldn't be much fun would it ? I have no problem with people selling stock they own, it's other people's stock being sold that I have issues with. | ![]() wheeze
28/9/2018 09:17 | Wheeze ""My guess is we will have to wait for results." I think so as well.. Remember a year ago, they had the GM regarding the voting for the Yume deal... They were happy with Numis' figures, which included cash... Yet a week later, they announced cash approx $21m lower than the expectation.. | ![]() sikhthetech
28/9/2018 09:12 | Because cash is not an estimate but it is a fact the trading figures are estimates because all the billing is not in yet but it's a rough outline of where their trading And you won't exactly know what cash you will have until the end of the year and all the billing is in | ![]() football
28/9/2018 09:10 | Revenue isn't as volatile. They should be able to make a reasonable estimate, perhaps with a bit of sandbagging, a short period ahead of time. Cash all depends on whether bills get paid or not between now and the end of the half. You should be able to make a reasonable estimate of what bills you're going to pay yourself, but you have very little control over whether some of your bigger overdue or about-to-be-due accounts are going to settle before or after period end. They could have reported the latest known cash balance but chose not to. Perhaps they decided with net cash as of year-end and a good adjusted EBITDA estimated for the half-year, the precise cash balance as of some date before period end wouldn't be a very significant metric for investors? | ![]() 1gw
28/9/2018 09:02 | It's 1 week before H1 end... They managed to give revenue estimates, didn't they? "Revenue increasing by approximately 50% from H1 2018 to $170 – $180 million (H1 2018: $114.5 million);" Nothing stopping them giving cash estimate... | ![]() sikhthetech
28/9/2018 08:59 | My guess is we will have to wait for results. The new CFO will have a lot of catching up to do.Was this the second time Ed Reginelli left the company ? I would dearly like to know why - spare us the conspiracy theories please ! | ![]() wheeze
28/9/2018 08:55 | In a nod to my suggestion that this stock is a woofer they show a picture of a dog on Page 3. Inspirational. | ![]() jonc
28/9/2018 08:47 | The TU was before 1/2 year end. How could they give an end-period cash estimate? Just the same problem as with the transactional kpis. So we may get a post-period TU with cash and transactional kpi's or we may have to wait for the results. | ![]() 1gw
28/9/2018 08:45 | Anyone know how much cash they have left... There was no mention of cash in the TU.. | ![]() sikhthetech
