Yes it appears that R1 have made 2+2=3 with declining turnover in retained and acquired business.

There has been no mention of the P word.

That is profit after all costs have been deducted.

53tom - very many thanks for your thoughts, feelings and views. Much appreciated and encouraging. Will now sit back and watch the game unfold.

digi - I almost get the feeling that Singer has been reading your sincerely held misgivings.

Indeed a 10x rate! And has his eye on increasing cash flow.

Yes, Eric has cleared the lot out.....
The answer will be in the numbers/result they post. It is what E Singer kept re-iterating.

Eric is underwater as many of us are, and his motive is to make some (more?) money.

That is a good incentive and happy to ride his coattails for now!

Yes indeed Sikh and those Q1 revenues of $87m look weak when you tease them out.

When you compare with the previous year and make adjustments for what you might expect from the acquisitions.

Not being too demanding, based on expected run rates that should deliver $380m revenues for a full year, 10% below the current Numis forecast.

And taking Q1 (April-June) as an average quarter, neither particularly strong or weak, just average.

For Q1 last year I am getting $44.7m from the data they gave us.

That includes 4 days Rad-1 revenues so we can reduce by say $1m – to get Q1 revenues last year excluding Rad-1 of $43.7m.

With a full quarter of Rad-1 this year, we should expect say an extra $22m, running a little lower, but not too much.

With YuMe having taken a bit of a battering, let us just add $10m a month so $30m expected from YuMe.

That adds up to a reasonable guesstimate of what you might have expected revenues to be - $95.7m.

But they have only reported $87m, so a shortfall of $8.7m.

So over 9% revenue shrinkage already, sorry folks, it is not too good is it?

Punters should be careful not to get sucked in by the hype and spin.

Doesn't need this but seems to be very engaged and looking forward to adding another success to his list of turnarounds. I take it the £17.50 is what you get if you apply the turnaround track record he was talking about to the current R1 share price?

LCW,
It came across exactly like that. The guy is 64 and does not need this.

Loaf,
I agree. I have a new target after hearing Mark Bonney...£17.50.
Mark and Eric seem to work well together.
Sorry Loaf never figured who you were!

I see there is a disproportionate number of sells under 100 and a good many under 50...still it bulks up the other side a little. lol

Nice summary Tom,very encouraging but lets not forget multi millionaire hedge fund executives don’t wear masks and don’t leave out the back door.....
Looking for some serious progress next week if the new board can sell this idea

Tom - that was always our belief..that is a pretty reassuring statement and one that will be mentioned many times in the future....thanks for the feedback and your view.

You will be the center of many debates in the coming days.

RF - let me simplify this - take a three runner race..we will call the runners one, two, three. With me so far? lol

I lay a £60 to £40 one, a £60 to £40 two..and £75 to a pony three....return share price 6/4 joints one and two 3/1 three.

I collected in the satchel £105 and pay out whatever wins £100 - that is an overround of 5%...whatever wins I take 5%

No gamble - get it? lol You sure you weren't a barrow boys hod carrier?
