28/1/2020 18:44 | anyone with good knowledge of technical analysis? what are the key support / resist levels? long -term trends etc? | george stobbart
28/1/2020 18:19 | Hopefully I can make a few quid here, although I have been wrong before. | gregsc
28/1/2020 17:42 | I see a Dutch small/mid cap fund bought 3% on 17 Jan - waiting for the great day on 30th and see if we can get past resistance of 37p - first week of Feb should give us Hope. | mathurin1
28/1/2020 16:32 | Good to see an insti increasing their position by another 1% | dplewis1
28/1/2020 09:52 | Talk about ' under the radar '! In my opinion Renewi was virtually unknown to any stock picker since the Shanks days. The UK/Benelux mix simply didn't excite.I am hopeful that the Amsterdam listing and the round robin spin by the CEO etc will finally wake up the market- this share has quite simply missed leadership - the Chairman & CFO are simply not the solution & hopefully the recent Dutch appointments will work through to a better performance in Benelux. | mathurin1
28/1/2020 09:13 | It did well yesterday to hold up and amazing start today. Bit worried whether it will get dragged down if markets take a dive over next couple of weeks. This virus is going to destroy all forecasts for Chinese economy. Reports are it will most likely last till the summer.... Renewi is quite a defensive stock so as money comes out of energy and financials maybe renewi won’t do so badly | markjb49
28/1/2020 08:52 | We must offer great thanks to George - this forum was completely dead until the good ATM news - only George was keeping us abreast of news at a difficult time for investor decisions - Before the market finally wakes up like sheep - now is the moment for wise investment. | mathurin1
28/1/2020 08:41 | This is encouraging. | gregsc
28/1/2020 08:41 | This one holding ok despite the coronavirus sell off in markets. 2 days til listing | george stobbart
26/1/2020 18:02 | IC article - "Renewi's Dutch foray is more than just window dressing, particularly in view of the BlackRock statement. Long-term planning in the UK waste management industry has been characterised by complacency and inertia, but with an expected compound annual growth rate of 6 per cent through to 2025, there are certainly enough incentives for both institutional and retail investors."https://w | dplewis1
24/1/2020 14:04 | RENEWI. I don't understand the Burford business model and have no position. Just trolling there my BUR holder mates. | george stobbart
24/1/2020 13:50 | A QUESTION PLEASE FOR GEORGE I NOTICE YOU ALSO FOLLOW BURFORD CAPITAL AS WELL AS RENEWI. OVER THE NEXT TWO WEEKS WOULD YOU RATHER BE INVESTED IN RENEWI OR BURFORD ( WE NEVER KNOW WHEN BURFORD WILL SUDDENLY TURN !). | mathurin1
24/1/2020 13:27 | Let's hope for the best. They are all over the place across the EU to do the marketing for the listing next week. 24/1/2020 12:01 | Just bought another 300K, lets see what happens next week. | gregsc
24/1/2020 11:45 | That makes sense George BUT do the EUR shares follow GBP shares and adjust for the currency or is it the other way around?? So for example (assume GBP renewi leader)BOE release statement £ shoots up against EURO and $. EUR renewi shares would rise to counter the effect - a guaranteed winner. Seems a bit too easy.... | markjb49
24/1/2020 11:42 | george, you make some very good points. Something to think about. | gregsc
24/1/2020 11:39 | Markjb49 - yes I guess should track each other adjusted for the currency effect. Currently: Renewi's revenue are in EUR, reports financials in EUR, trades in GBP After secondary: Renewi's revenue are in EUR, reports financials in EUR, trades in EUR (or GBP via LSE) Effectively if you are are an EU institutional investor you want the EUR shares that have no currency risk. Alternative you can buy in GBP and hedge out the currency risk. | george stobbart
24/1/2020 11:38 | Greg I am not sure I agree with that either. There will be funds that can only hold stocks in that exchange. Major pension companies. I might be wrong but I think it’s a positive move, I don’t necessarily think it will jump up next Friday but I think it will help it go in the right direction | markjb49
24/1/2020 11:25 | I hope you are right george, I have a significant holding here. | gregsc
24/1/2020 11:23 | I will have to politely disagree, having traded two dutch ESG stocks (Fastned and Alfen) on their listing day, but let's hope for the best! | george stobbart |
