19/2/2020 20:57 | A day like today for Renewi truly is a ‘champagneR | mathurin1
19/2/2020 15:58 | 16-Dec-19 Otto buys 90k shares 20-Dec-19 ATM gets regulatory approval (RNS) 03-Feb-20 Otto buys 20k shares 04-Feb-20 Otto buys 30k shares 05-Feb-20 New ATM gets product certification 06-Feb-20 Otto buys 40k shares Looks like he knows what he's doing! | george stobbart
19/2/2020 15:08 | 45p?? How absurd, won't get there this month! On another note those buys from Otto are looking quite well timed - he seems to be having the desired effect since he started. | dplewis1
19/2/2020 14:24 | Funny how that bit of good news has suddenly ignited the share price days after it was announced. dplewis how about disclaiming 45p? | wad collector
19/2/2020 13:29 | Excellent, it worked. | dplewis1
19/2/2020 12:58 | This is definitely not going through 40p today. | dplewis1
19/2/2020 10:52 | Yes looking pretty perky here finally, albeit on quite low volumes | dplewis1
19/2/2020 10:44 | Clear rise in share price yesterday and today, hope for more! | sjoerdaktetas
19/2/2020 09:58 | Thanks George. Now you have put this news in print so to speak, I wonder if we PI's are the only people who look at this BB. I suspect not. RWI's PR firm seems to be asleep, George is doing a better job. This is a sensible BB compared to some others. | gregsc
19/2/2020 09:35 | Renewi released a guidance without communicating it via RNS but it was rather buried in the dutch listing presentation. They released a presentation called 'Introduction to Renewi' on their website and the guidance is on p. 21. They believe that Dutch Commercial can reach an EBIT of c. 70mn EUR and margin >8% and ATM (new / legacy) an EBIT of c. 20mn and margin of 17-19%. No guidance for the other RWI businesses (municipal, Belgium commercial, monostreams etc)has been given. Timeframe to reach that is "within the next 24-36 months" - see small letters at the bottom. Current analyst EBIT mean-estimates are: FY2020 (Mar-20): 76.58mn FY2021 (Mar-21): 81.78mn FY2022 (Mar-22): 90.03mn So effectively RWI gives a somewhat punchy outlook and thinks they can reach EBIT=90mn EUR in CY2022 even without any contribution from the other parts of the business. The other parts however had significant contribution to overall EBIT in CY2019 c. +47mn EUR: Belgium Commercial +33.3mn, Monostreams +12.9mn and municipal +0.8mn Assuming zero growth from the other bits (flat EBIT=47mn), if they meet their forecasts for Dutch+ATM, they could reach a group EBIT of 137mn in CY2020 vs. estimate 90mn. A big 'if' though. | george stobbart
19/2/2020 07:06 | Thanks brummy. Rwi looks cheap and attractive at this level. | robsy2

18/2/2020 19:15 | I wonder why they didn't announce it. May not be important now but it's going to be. | gregsc
18/2/2020 18:03 | Looks like that Renewi received product certification as at 05/02/2020 for: EN 12620:2002 + A1:2008 Aggregates for concrete EN 13043:2002 Aggregates for bituminous mixtures and surface treatments for roads, airfields and other trafficked areas EN 13139:2002 + AC:2004 Aggregates for mortar EN 13242:2002 + A1:2007 Aggregates for unbound and hydraulically bound materials for use in civil engineering work and road construction They've used BE-CERT for certification services hxxp://www.be-cert.b It is less material at the moment because they expect the new ATM to take up 100% of legacy ATM's capacity by Sep-2020, ramping up progressively. | george stobbart
18/2/2020 16:44 | RWI haven't announced certification for their secondary materials(new ATM)yet. Hopefully they are still expecting it in February. | gregsc
18/2/2020 16:37 | what's the next resistance level if we break through the 37p iceberg? anyone? | george stobbart
18/2/2020 16:23 | Excellent it worked - the law that shall make any price target incorrect! Happy to be wrong for a change :) | dplewis1
18/2/2020 14:40 | Hasn't cracked that 37p yet.. don't think it's got the legs today. | dplewis1
18/2/2020 14:29 | Enfin! Renewi is at last showing signs of positivity. | mathurin1
14/2/2020 11:48 | Looks like we are finally knocking on the door of a 1 yr high. Still a long way back to put me in the blue , but looking like the worst is behind us, assuming no more banana skins. Bit of an assumption! | wad collector
11/2/2020 16:42 | The article I read didn't seem as negative - doesn't sound like they were wilfully taking money without the intention of recycling the cups, more like the cups were not in a sufficiently clean state to recycle. https://nltimes.nl/2 | dplewis1
11/2/2020 16:34 | Finished off up so that’s a relief | markjb49
11/2/2020 10:58 | More negative news keeps coming in... De Monitor (Dutch investigative TV show - something like BBC Panorama) "exposed" yesterday that Renewi is running a scam where the government pays millions to RWI to recycle coffee cups and instead they dump most of it to incinerators and collect the money. Has gone a bit viral on Twitter / social media but share prices in LSE/AMX are stable so far | george stobbart |
