Idea. British virgin island currently trashed, whole new infrastructure to build. Wobbly pole grid smashed and no power. Why don't they.....buy redt containers....bury them every so often round the island....along with fresh supply of panels...then....when hurricane has gone...BINGO...immediate power. Creat a new "grid". Life and future changing ideas borne from disaster. ?...???

They’ll be needing some storage then...

Saudi Arabia to invest $500 billion in fully automated city spanning three countries

Robots may outnumber humans in a new pioneering city billed by Saudi Arabia as "a new blueprint for sustainable life", which would be entirely powered by renewable energy, and served by driverless vehicles and vertical farms.

The city would be be solely powered by renewable energy harvested by the sun and wind via fields of solar panels and windmills, creating a pollution-free environment. The population would be fed from the produce of vertical farms and solar-powered greenhouses.

If they nourish their project list with their news as it develops I doubt they need loads of pink-shirted marketeers . Also, their distributors will have some marketing nous. The BBC spell was good advertorial, that won't be the last.Technicians in charge of sub-Saharan telephone masts will not need green shield stamps either. I don't think they need to beat themselves up on marketing.

Bit concerning that by their own admission they are poor at marketing.

Marketing is the life blood of sales, what are they playing at? Seems like they know how to develop a product but are not cut out for the roll out phase.

I still think this is an interesting company having concerns is healthy.

Interesting that anyone who raises any issues must of course be homeless, on the dole, sad, craving attention etc. lol

Anyway, cant spend all day chatting, gotta pop down the food bank for my breakfast.

Pierre Oreilly leave owenski alone, he is just some poor sad fuc.er living in his bed sit, the only person he used to see was when he cashed his dole cheque, now it gets paid straight into the bank....so he has to have an outlet somewhere!!!

far better to do the minor snagging now before mass production.
the last thing the company wants is large modifications later.
Might be a bit slower than we would like but lets get the job done properly.
i can now see real progress

It's like you're craving attention owen.

I don't mind you posting negative information, but you just post genetic negative stuff with no real content.

Do you get no attention in real life?

Yes it is a business but so is Tesla, they have yet to make a profit, tesla now have just under $10 billion of debt on their books and are loosing money....they may even have to go back to the market to raise more ..... so as you see owenski not all businesses need to make a profit to have a huge market cap... but profit does help..

Scott is on the ball as far as costs are concerned, when you look at other battery tech,s they have squandered $100s of million to get where REDT are .....

Still a very interesting company Dig. But it's still a business at the end of the day and needs to be viewed as such, which means trying to get a handle on the money flow, and I have valid concerns that it's still early days here.

owenski Scott Mcgregor is not one for fluffing things up, in fact quite the opposite, but when he says quite a few big orders in the pipeline that is exactly what he means.....he dosent market the company David Lenigas style, but sometimes you wish he would!!!

Owenski has always been negative, he goes quiet when he's long and of course usual 2 year old stuff as he's sold his life savings.

Thing is Owenski what you are saying is pretty useless as usual and goes show how little you understand, I don't think anyone here has the motivation to discuss your points as you will just repeat and repeat as usual.

If you can't see value, push on.

Going through the feedback posted here it's concerning to read - long lead times, weeks to connect to the grid, using diesel generators to charge it up??? component failures - they might be 'small', but fuses and sensors failing is concerning, getting the impression that they these are not only long lead time for ordering machines but some considerable time is required to commission and grid connect too?? did they also report wrong parts delivered or not turn up??

Getting the impression that the margin on these machines is not high so a lot need to be shifted to make RED profitable, and once again the dreaded 'slowly' word was used.

Think it's still very early days here yet and RED is currently at the 76m M.cap region, still not profitable and burning cash.

I suspect they will be back to the market for funds again with inevitable discounting and dilution and no amount of posting by the Dig will stop that.

Meanwhile, The Chinese are entering the flow machine game.

Stop your negativity. Never heard of you and find your texts lacking in facts. Dreaming is so obviously your game for gain. Go away. I speak for the whole community who don't mind facts but biggeted views are not wanted
