07/10/2017 20:53 | Anyone any ideas why we are seeking a role with this as a specific? Are we looking to launch another type of product? I know Australian Vanadium are launching a VRB aimed at home market and they are all over redT on twitter, but it's a 5/15 system as I understand things... Still, is this normal within research or would it be they are specifically designing something for a new market? Ideas/thoughts "The role will include manual assembly of small (a few cm) to large (up to 1m) electrochemical cells using multiple parts including sealing components, where scrupulous attention to cleanliness is required." | dogrunner11
07/10/2017 20:27 | Also his point on likes of Tesco's, put solar on their roofs and save 20% they will be installed on mass coupled with storage and we are really there now he said. 5-10 years energy generation will have changed forever. Interesting stuff indeed. | dogrunner11
07/10/2017 20:24 | Should have read Head Of Centrica Peak power.... Yes NetCurtains, he mentioned schemes they are doing which is a 50MW lithium for SHORT term duration, but made the importance of the redT scheme in Cornwall for time shifting solar... he sounded very keen indeed. Also I thought it interesting on how much a solar farm he mentioned, said it had fallen from £3 million not so long back to one done last year costing £1 million for a 1MW system.... Can buy a MW energy storage system for less then that lol. Alchemy - finally us shareholders should get some serious rewards here, might be a couple more years for full benefits but this could easily be a 20 plus bagger, maybe under selling it.. new battery tech that will disrupt energy generation/distribut | dogrunner11
07/10/2017 18:56 | Excitement mounts. I know it's business but it's also a turning point . I have gone for many theme stocks, they haven't zoomed thus far , but this one IS going to. I'd love to get a lift for my family whilst good happens - generally .On Aim? surely not? | alchemy
07/10/2017 18:24 | dogrunner11: What was interesting about the BBC programme ("MORE OR LESS" with Evan Davies) that the CENTRICA chap was making a big point about the CORNWALL experiment. We have a high profile on the Centrica radar. Everyone was agreeing that energy storage was at the tipping point. The point just before mass production. REDT is on ..... | netcurtains
07/10/2017 18:07 | Just listened to radio 4 about batteries, mainly about cars and lithium, there was the guess of Centrica peak power plants on though who immediately mentioned the holiday park in Cornwall and time shifting its solar.... didn’t mention redT by name but clearly they are very excited about this technology. He went on to say we are near the tipping point of big business installing these types of storage with solar as it will save big business a lot of money. He suggested it would be a very quick transformation of energy. RedT will be at the forefront here of large scale. Bring on the Countryfile redT advert. | dogrunner11
07/10/2017 16:39 | I think he's going for the used car dealer/Nixon look:) | tonsil
07/10/2017 13:38 | Yes, agree Alchemy, a great promotional video. I especially like the fact that it is aimed at the general public rather than being too technical. Just hope Scott had a shave before recording the Country File episode! | littlepop

Publicity does not get better than that. FANTASTIC A hell of a sight better than Gigha !!! | fieldhouse
07/10/2017 10:46 | ALC, my point was the IP holder can make shed loads just by licencing. Perhaps a better example would have been arm. | pierre oreilly

06/10/2017 13:58 | That I don't understand. They owned dos, all the office apps outright..the IPR thereof which they licensed to users to run on their pcs. Don't get the relevance. ( that might be me mind! ) . | alchemy
06/10/2017 13:34 | I hope jmat does enter this redt space and eventually sell lots into the infinite storage market. .... they'll likely license redt technology. That approach didn't seem to do Microsoft much harm. | pierre oreilly
