15/12/2016 09:35 | Can somebody please report back on the Scott interview just made available? I'm at work so can't view at present!!!!Whoops, shouldn't be typing on here either!!! Boss will tell me off | cheek212
15/12/2016 09:32 | So it's ok for you to trade Pierre, but no-one else. Classic. Why are people so intolerant of others? Especially when they do something similar. What bugs me is people say they saw this placing coming, sold out and never mentioned here at all. Thanks for that. | swiss tony
15/12/2016 08:52 | Sorry,'open offer',lets be pedantic.////////The Company is grateful for the continued support of redT's existing shareholders and is therefore proposing separately to make an Open Offer to all Qualifying Shareholders to enable Qualifying Shareholders to have the opportunity to participate in the capital raising process at a price equivalent to the Placing Price. It is proposed that the Open Offer will raise up to GBP3 million (being less than the EUR5 million maximum amount permitted without requiring the publication by the Company of a prospectus under the Prospectus Rules). | 12bn
15/12/2016 08:46 | 12bn, there isn't a rights issue. | pierre oreilly
15/12/2016 08:44 | Au revoir Pierre For anyone else who indulges in Stockholm Syndrome with these AIM tiddlers I would strongly advise the developing a fully flexible to trading in and out of your companies. Not neccesarily the whole lot but just look at the way you are treated by these outfits! Sxx an absolute classic, an absolutely MISERLY open offer. AIM is a cesspit, don't sink into it. What an absolute tool Pierre is, never mind but I was looking forwards to invoking some AA Gill style vituperative criticism of various posts. | gunsofmarscapone
15/12/2016 08:39 | Down she goes, heading for the placing price imo. Long termers aren't buying now at 8.75p when they will get shares at 8p in the rights issue, who can blame them! | 12bn
15/12/2016 08:32 | Tony, yes I did. I sold half. Just luck that it was at the peak.It was normal risk management imv. I don't mind a high exposure while I can sell immediately, but if I'm not able to trade for two weeks, then I'll lower my risk and exposure on high risk holdings to a level reflecting my risk appetite, and reappraise when I can instantly trade again. | pierre oreilly
15/12/2016 08:28 | Many? How many? Show us the data showing that it's usual for shares to drop to the placing price, otherwise you are just scaremongering along the lines of 'buzz Aldrin walked on the moon, therefore all men do'.Of course it could fall to the placing price, it could even fall to nothing. It could go to five quid next year, 'could' is a great but largely useless word. | pierre oreilly
15/12/2016 08:25 | And by all account, we DID fall to the placing price, it hit 8p on the day. Never let facts get in the way of a good story. | swiss tony
15/12/2016 08:24 | Erm, Pierre, did you not sell some before your holidays and buy back? | swiss tony
15/12/2016 07:59 | As wardy says many shares drop to the placing price,LGO has just done a placing at 0.12p and yesterday the share price hit 0.1175p offer. I am not saying that there is any guarantee that this will drop so far but it is a distinct possibility not to be ignored imo. | 12bn
15/12/2016 05:43 | dig3 some good posts, we do seem to be well ahead of the competition. This placing is just a short term setback but makes the longer term potential even more compelling !!! | parsons4
14/12/2016 23:09 | Many placings on AIM drop to the placing price or under look at the recent TERN placing, not to say this one will in fact I don't think there is a chance it will, too many things happening here ,double digit S/P early in the New Year, | wardy333
14/12/2016 21:39 | I did purchase an initial stake here today at precisely NY opening time only £10k in stock but oddly cannot see the trade listed. I will continue to purchase. | tech_ip
14/12/2016 20:45 | and Vionx likewise have ONE vacancie for a Field test engineer.....not really hard to see who is moving...and ready to go.. If you go into UET web-site and take a look at their products page...see how many products are there...... Yes there are press piece about UET and likewise Vionx, but the yanks are good at PR..how do you think Donald Trump becams president??? | dlg3
14/12/2016 20:41 | this is the ONE job at UET, have you seen what they want him to do!!! | dlg3
14/12/2016 20:39 | I allways think you can tell where a company is heading by the staff they are hiring, Scott does not hire unless needed....REDT has this many job vacancies at the moment.. | dlg3
14/12/2016 20:23 | ianous as far as I know they are doing their own manufacturing, that in the states will require 100,s million $$$$ investment and to set up a world wide network of manufacturing units will cost billions of $$$,s, this is where REDT have the advantage, Jabil have 103 manufacturing locations around the world.... If you want to compare how much it costs, take a look at Tesla.... better still look at Vionx, they raised $53 million last year and have done sweet F.A....Vionx is another story.. So while UET are busy building manufacturing units REDT will be busy building battery,s.... the placing we have just had shows how Scott has control over the finances, he is not one to throw money around..£15 million for Gen 3 and 4 is peanuts....what I think Scott is doing is building up for when a bidder comes knocking at the door, the more he can throw at them the higher price he can demand... Besides there are many battery manufacturers, the demand worldwide will be so great that they will all have more than they can chew..... | dlg3
14/12/2016 19:59 | Pierre dont knock it a profit is a profit, but when you are out and the share price rises, do you then count that as a loss??? This could easy do 100% in one day then that would be a 94% loss?? | dlg3
14/12/2016 19:50 | Guns, Lose the question mark at the end of your post, as it only suggests that you are seeking guidance. Chas | backdoorbill
14/12/2016 19:47 | Anyone know anything about hxxp://www.uetechnol and how they compare on costs? | ianous
14/12/2016 18:54 | I'm loading up in the Offer | pottermagic2310
14/12/2016 17:56 | Guns, sorry if i showed my bitterness at your incredible trading ability. You are a true guru. If only i could make half what you make (that's 3% i think, but please check my maths) i'd be a very happy bunny. It's not often advfn is blessed with such amazing winners as yourself. I await with baited breath your next words of wisdom so that one day, by learning from your techniques, I too can rise to the heights of 6% profit on my investments. You are a true legend in your own mind. Filtered. | pierre oreilly
14/12/2016 17:44 | Last placing didn't fall below or same price. | dogrunner11
14/12/2016 17:39 | Pierre ma petite copine et pompier. Your post is rank with bitterness, I am a true believer in the future of the pleasingly non-abundant yet polyvalent element vanadium as one of an eclectic array of future materials and processes to end our hydro carbon addiction. I really think that you ought to try and understand what a share actually is and how to optimise your final net position. Its really no good pretending to be a pseudo sagaciously patient numpty who will in all likelyhood, never exit at a profit. What is the point in that? I will almost definitely build a longer term position here but not this week. Sxx quite a good example recently; anyway you should have spotted the probability of a placing and exited a month ago. As it happens you are probably submerged but I am in profit fully crystallised. That makes me a winner, this is the whole point surely? | gunsofmarscapone |
