03/9/2021 16:17 | I agree Indigo. | bigbaggy
03/9/2021 09:33 | Maybe that was the intent, but either he didn't measure up, or the role didn't suit him for whatever reason - in my mind it would be a far more serious issue to keep somebody in role they weren't capable of doing, so much better to let go and search for somebody else. Let's be honest, RBGP isn't a cosy coffee club. Nicola has made it quite clear they are only interested in people with serious ambition. I wouldn't want to work there, but then I've bought shares to get a return rather than fund a comfy workplace. | indigocarmine
03/9/2021 08:26 | But Indio that is my point, Nicola made it very clear that his appointment was particularly important for succession planning. Those were her words. I understood that to mean lining him up as future CEO. What other role could she be referring to? | bigbaggy
02/9/2021 17:44 | I'm not overly worried by it. Doubtless there will be some short term jitters on the SP, but I don't see it as a red flag. If it was Nicola Foulston leaving, that would be a different matter altogether... | indigocarmine
02/9/2021 17:40 | I also thought there might have been a clash of personalities. Ex military man of little legal experience attempting the drive efficiencies and change lawyer behaviour. I can see there being clashes. I expect Nicola will command respect, be more personable and get the results shareholders want | scubadiverr
02/9/2021 17:27 | My reading if different. Despite being entrepreneurial, having setup numerous businesses after leaving the military, I thought he was an odd fit lacking any experience of the sector and the weakest, or certainly least experienced in the area of responsibility of all the business leads. I'm actually pleased Nicola is taking on the responsibility of integrating the law firms as I think we stand a better chance of gaining efficiencies and beating forecasts with her at the helm. I note that Barry is to remain as a Consultant so don't see this as a red flag. I maybe nieve. Interested in others thoughts? | scubadiverr
02/9/2021 17:21 | I don't really see it as a red flag, perhaps just a clash of personalities, them not getting on with each other ? Admittedly it was a very short lived appointment. | wanttowin
02/9/2021 16:17 | Odd RNS today. Foulston was clearly lining up the COO for big things and now he has gone in just a few short months... I am sure merging two lots of mega ego law firms is no easy task though. A shame she has to step in yet again and roll her sleeves up. Really should have a deeper bench. I have done very well on these but this is a bit of a red flag sadly. | bigbaggy
31/8/2021 12:12 | With AJ BELL, will wait until end of day and contact them if not received. | cormask
31/8/2021 12:05 | Not received div in my HL account yet but i am not surprised because they are hopeless. | dicktrade
31/8/2021 11:54 | Dividends received via IG ISA & Interactive Investor ISA | flagon
31/8/2021 11:53 | received cash for one account but await shares in another. I'm guessing that's why price has just spiked, as brokers and buying for drip and Mm's are taking advantage asper usual | scubadiverr
31/8/2021 11:50 | Hi cormask - yes received on 27th. I use Interactive Investor. | boozey
31/8/2021 11:48 | Has anybody received dividend for 27 Aug? | cormask

24/8/2021 16:54 | But why Scuba ? Certainly not deliberately, but he appears to have halted the fall and increased share price by 10p ! A bonus for us all surely, save that top up for any future dips. | wanttowin
24/8/2021 16:36 | I for one was kind of hoping to get my dividend reinvested at this morning's price. Really wishing this "tipster" had kept quiet | scubadiverr
24/8/2021 16:23 | LOMCOVAKS, Thank you for that , i think i may have come across him but dont follow. Perhaps i should :-)) Richard | dicktrade
24/8/2021 16:12 | Hi Richard, GHF is a FinTwit poster and a very successful investor. Well worth the follow - | lomcovaks
24/8/2021 16:11 | GHF is Glasshalfull a really well respected investor. I believe he has several thousand followers, he doesn't post on ADVFN anymore but does so regularly on Twitter. Not a tipster just a really genuine good guy who has an excellent reputation for selecting winners..He has totally transformed my fortunes, is a gentleman and enjoys helping others, I do not hesitate in recommending you follow him.GLA | wanttowin
24/8/2021 16:04 | GHF ?? Who is this please? TIA Richard | dicktrade
24/8/2021 15:53 | I think you will find that GHF started this lovely rise..he posted on Twitter this morning and added considerably. Been following him for a long time and also added to this, my second largest holding. I am sure many others have done the same, he refers to a 10 mill acquisition that Convex Capital did on Friday and on how well Convex has been trading. Interims out mid September. GLA | wanttowin
24/8/2021 15:37 | Can't see anything obvious to explain bounce, although it's only reversed the steady fall (on no news) over the last month so just back to where we started! | riverman77 |
