Same investment profile here, I'm a happy long term holder based on the capability and large shareholding of management. I'd like to think the risk is to the upside; where the share price can go, earnings and market sentiment will tell us.

Long time holder here got in around 70p in Jan last year. Been really impressed with the performance and way the business has been run over the last year and a half. What's the general consensus of where share price can go now Lionfish is producing and the pipeline is good for convex capital?

i was first time impressed by Nicky when i first opened their web site and there was a 2-3 minute video of her. Reminded me of Angela Merkel lol, strong, intelligent woman with high entrepreneurship skills. The stock was 50p back then in march 2020, i didnt buy then i bought around 75p, still enjoying almost 100% growth in 1 year. Great company!

Alan Charlton on bash panel was very knowledgeable on the company and reminded me of all the reasons why I invested. I rate the management team highly and think Nicky Foulston has a laser focus on creating value based on a vision of what the business can be.

RBG is a long term hold for me also, strong entrepreneurial management will very large stake in business. None of the litigation potential upside is in the company forecast numbers - this weeks Mr Market wobble was a buying opportunity for me.

Mr Market always appears to react disproportionately to short term news. Neptune is clearly a disappointment but there is far more to RBGP than this one case. Convex is performing strongly and the legal services market is running very hot. So, the investment case is still a strong one. We're on a rolling p/e of 15.3 so hardly stretched and towards the bottom of the sector with KEYS on a rolling p/e of 40.

The large cases are lottery tickets but peripheral to my investment case.

I bought shares for the long term. I bought them around 75p, i had a chance to load more at 55p range, but didnt, too bad. But im not selling yet, maybe after 2-3 years. I have faith in CEO Nikola and all the management, how the company is run, how is expanding, relationship with investors etc. If one of their big projects gets in, it will be huge, im optimist that atleast one will go thru soon.

The FY presentation has a slide with an overview of the 3 big cases - it appears Neptune was much smaller than the others with a potential recovery value of 4.5m, compared to Shango (75m) and Mercury (65m) - if I'm reading that right then today's announcement not such a big deal.

Hope it’s not like football’s VAR. When they ask the ref to re-watch the incident he always overrides his initial decision :-)

TBH nothing has changed here really. Neptune, along with the others, was always a toss up. It appears that we won the case, but there's now going to be a retrial, but the odds favour us getting the same result, albeit later than hoped for. It could be that the Judge got Covid or something, we don't know the reasons for the delay.

I was however hoping for an 'exceeds expectations' rather than a meet, but there you go.

Justice certainly seems to have delivered an injustice here. I hope we get to find out more soon with the opportunity to ask questions. It is my hope that there can be some redress from the justice system, alternatively, this may now be a case where it would make sense to use hybrid financing, with costs set to increase, where additional risk can be shared with another funder.

Thanks Maddox.. Now if only I had found it on the 12th May, when published. A painful lesson in having too many eggs in one basket. That said, the future growth story is still present and Neptune was the least significant of the elephantine cases - A good time for others to jump on board/add?

If the case needs to be retried due to the judge taking too long (19 months), who is liable for the costs of the retrial ? Is it is the ministry of justice or the courts ? Would seem to be unfair for the participants to have to pay again for something that was carried out properly the first time (apart from the judge).
