06/1/2023 11:16 | What it all boils down to is that rambler cannot produce a single pound of copper profitably with the NewGen debt, its as simple as that. What I cannot figure is why Toby Bradbury used retail investors money to ramp up production to 4 working stopes when he couldnt mine copper profitably unless he was gambling on a much higher copper price. (Gambling with retail investors money I might add!). | mrpiggy

05/1/2023 12:22 | Oh no its still in Ramblers hands. I posted the link to the actual deal and I'm sure newgen would be happy to receive a cash sum, but then not if the whole agenda was for shareholders to prove up the billion dollar asset, to have it wrenched from them. Toby at the helm, but doubt he was involved in the finance side of things, but yes buck stops with him, albeit some may think he may have been somewhat set up. However, they could have and still could sort it out IF THERE IS THE WILL TO DO SO, and many have been worried about that especially after such destructive RNS's, which seemed designed to make things worse. If it was not in Rambler's hands they would have to say so. But instead you could be forgiven for thinking correctly or incorrectly they are doing nothing, waiting for delisting? Again the worrying thing is who actually stands to gain because Newgen are only the Administrative Agent for the loan to Rambler with as yet anonymous individuals/companie If you look at the finance deal which is available on Companies House site, there appears nothing to stop Rambler raising finance to Newgen. If it was out of Rambler's hands I doubt Rambler would have been able to have forward sold gold or forward sold copper? | ![]() pensionplanner
05/1/2023 11:51 | It's no longer in Ramblers hands, if Toby had ANY honour he'd resign now. The terms of the Newgen loan were never made public, but usual senior credit terms usually state that repayments must be made from trade and not from refinance. RMM are screwed. | ![]() excellance
05/1/2023 11:21 | Trader. I'd love for you to be proved wrong re: Delisting, but the lack of news from the BoD of Rambler and not even pursuing open corporate bond deal which would be less dilutive on assets we all know is considered to be over a $1billion. They delist at their peril, as I will consider action which could make them personally liable under the Companies Act if successful. | ![]() pensionplanner
20/12/2022 09:26 | Surprised indeed that Rambler appear to have made no attempt to consider more viable ways of removing the debt. There are so many opportunities for them to resolve this with shareholders interests at heart? Still not too late for corporate bond issue with set interest rates, but interest and capital all repaid by shares. It could have been 20p conversion, but now I suggest it would be 15p, but still a better deal for shareholders. Are they trying to save this company in the most effective way or are the suspicions raised by others correct? Some may be forgiven for believing Rambler has no intention of saving the company, giving credibility to the comments some have made previously about leaving shareholders to prove it up, then have it snapped up from shareholders and who knows if that is the position now. There seems little effort contacting shareholders for a way out or is it like a story some were saying with time passing to hope its forgotten and let time pass until the share is actually delisted rather than suspended, which would suggest some may have been right all along about letting shareholders foot the bill for proving up and then having the assets stolen of shareholders which has happened elsewhere. Time will tell. | ![]() pensionplanner
