12/9/2022 16:22 | Surprised the share price has fallen back this much recently. When we get the Q2 sales number, I can’t see the growth being anything other than very good, the comparative for this time last year is pretty soft imo. Have to go back to calendar year 2019 I think to find any decent reference points for quarterly sales trends pre covid. We did £33m in Q1 (Apr-Jun 2019) and £30m in Q2. If you apply that ratio to the recently reported Q1 sales of £27m, I reckon Q2 this year could be 30% ahead of last year’s meagre £19m for Q2. Even if sales in last few days are impacted by recent events, the hot summer quite possibly helped offset this. Decent cash position, committed management that don’t ramp, much to like I think on a 12-18 month view. | mesb48
26/8/2022 22:46 | topup at 10p soon | jackson83
04/8/2022 19:15 | Reducing their position to below 10% i read it to create some liquidity i guess | rolo7
04/8/2022 14:34 | Schroders increase their position to almost 11%. Good sign and explains some of the buying | fegger
03/8/2022 13:59 | You're right stewacg. Stockopedia figure is out of date. "- Total liquidity headroom at 4 July 2022 of GBP11.8 million, being a cash balance of GBP8.3 million and GBP3.5 million of undrawn banking facilities, a GBP5.3 million increase since 31 March 2022" Makes the investment case even more compelling. As usual dyor | aishah
03/8/2022 13:53 | Aishah, please note that cash had climbed to £8.3m at July 4 as per a statement in the final results. | stewacg
03/8/2022 13:16 | Mkt Cap £15m with £5.8m cash and forecast p/e <6. Cheap imo. dyor | aishah
01/8/2022 14:31 | we are expecting great thinks ? someone knows something / lots of buying today | jackson83
07/7/2022 09:53 | On these results, Stockopedia has just bumped this up to a super stock. So after deducting lease costs, capex etc and even ignoring the cash on BS, it seems to be on just 4x historical free cash flow. Strong Q1 start to new year. Flexible/short average lease terms. Has to be decent risk/reward from here, or what am I missing apart from a negative view on anything retail/consumer spend right now? | mesb48
05/7/2022 08:14 | And that's only iterating the sales, plug in forecast cash it's good as 1% | velvetide
05/7/2022 07:56 | EV/Forward Sales of about 3% | velvetide
05/7/2022 07:12 | Stunning set of Fy results this morning and Q1 update. Cash risen sharply to £8.3 million. Nearly doubled in three months. EBITDA 5.1M Marketcap only 13m. Should surely be trading mid 30's now. | lw425
27/6/2022 22:06 | I will top up at 5p | jackson83
10/6/2022 18:45 | This ain't red or black mate? One minute you say it's going to hit 25p next minute it's a shorting opportunity | sagar424

31/5/2022 08:53 | Missguided into administration yesterday Wonder what Quiz doing right in this environment - they have of course guided to profits going forward | value viper
25/5/2022 20:20 | Ahead of FY results in July, quiz has guaranteed profits before tax of £500k, which is above what they expected. The board have a positive outlook and confident profitable revenue will be increasing. Quiz is way under valued at the moment due to current economic uncertainty. It spiked on good news and gained 70%, it has dropped back down but now is the time to get back in. Positive outcome for FY results in July have pretty much been promised, it's a no brainer. Get in now because you won't see this price for long | sagar424
16/5/2022 20:40 | Shoppers (mainly young) interviewed on R4 'You & Yours' today about their response to Zara's plans to introduce a £1.95 returns charge on goods bought online, if returned online, said they would not want to pay it. They would either buy less, buy goods in store or return goods in store (which would increase footfall). Could be positive for Quiz and others with a presence on the high street? | grim |
