Trade Volume worth noting for a Monday. Monday is usually very quiet. Surprised at this buying since 10.00am..

BUY SELLS
13m Versus 1.6m SELL

Someone has been loading up all morning at 3p
We have a leak, held for friends/family, buying all morning before stock is tipped in next publication with end of month salaries. We see this every year at this time. Not surprised.
MMakers have got this stock all wrong or held for mates rates.

Take your pick..

Analysing the intense buying, it is looking good for rest of week...

QBT has completed FPGA development phase and is moving to develop its ASIC protype:
“Initial estimates derived from the FPGA performance obtained from our internal testing, would indicate that when the final industrial ASIC prototype design is completed “it could outperform the fastest ASIC chip, currently being used to mine Bitcoin by at least 24%.”

FPGA and ASIC ULTRABOOST CHIPS development summary of rapid progress so far:
RnD: Based on 5 knowledge intensive approaches to make BTC block mining greener. Faster and more energy efficient.

FPGA=ASIC “ULTRABOOST221; chips could become a powerful Bitcoin mining machine.
Aim to mine both faster and with less overall energy consumption than current practices.
Ultimate goal is to produce an enhanced 7 nanometers (nm) ASIC chip
An industrial production of QBT’s ASIC at 7nm, would indicate a double hash rate of 1.19TH/s, hence 24% faster.

Concurrently, QBT’s R&D team is also considering an alternative SHA256 computing approach (which is categorised as the basic Bitcoin mining algorithm), and this will be tested within the next three months. The joint effort by the members of our AI team and the Company’s FPGA expert, could improve the current FPGA hash rate of 2.8GH/s by a highly material multiple factor, making mining by the slower FPGA chip potentially competitive against the best-in-class ASIC chip. Should this route be successful, mining via this method could commence as early as Q2 2022.

These AI techniques, if successful, could also improve the performance of current commercial ASIC Bitcoin miners.

LC It was a quick and dirty comparison only, not a direct read across. I made this clear. We all know ASIC hardware itself is set in stone. But ASIC firmware is not. Many btc miners update firmware with unauthorised versions. ASIC FIRMWARE UPDATES are available in many dark corners online. QBT ARE IMO LOOKING AT DOING THIS.You completely ignore the non ASIC/ FPGA/GPU side of the equation too. How convenient eh.Why are you here 24/7 with your Multi IDs bashing an aim tiddler, that is the real elephant in the room here eh.

PP. Also funny that only now, after having to explain the basic of mining economics to Stevie over the weekend, that he is now googling links on exactly this on the fantasy thread. Lol.

Eventually the penny will drop and he'll realise why the commercial miners have the strategies they do. CHEAP renewable power, and MACHINES with best ROI cost versus hash NOT outright hashpower.
