01/2/2019 23:50 | Isn't the written down plant, the UK-based plant, not the German bit? | zcaprd7
01/2/2019 20:03 | Very gracious CJohn. You never went broke taking a profit. I wonder what the clean shell (main market listing) and tax losses are worth? The nice people at HMRC are always keen to disallow past losses trying to be used by others although in this case they will be used by the company (hopefully) not by a third party. | konradpuss
01/2/2019 19:33 | Thanks zcaprd7, well done on holding on till the end! Your patience and more benign view of management behaviour have been proved correct! I'm happy for all holders. | cjohn
01/2/2019 17:12 | Yes eezy, given that the plant is largely written down, i wonder if it contributes to value now that it has a productive use. The new business will have 12 months of management accounts by now so should give a buyer some visibility of potential, maybe that is why they have been in no rush. And what of continuing eligibility for R&D grants. The short timescale suggests to me that they have options which are fairly advanced. At least it should avoid closure costs. | flyfisher
01/2/2019 16:39 | Sorry CJohn, don't be too gutted... | zcaprd7
01/2/2019 16:04 | Offload without any cost, we should get 32p then... | zcaprd7
01/2/2019 14:59 | Suspect residual business has little value given that they say "A sale to a third party or a transfer of the business to the existing management team remains under consideration" ie considering GIVING it to existing management. Just the faintest hope that the millions of euros worth of equipment written down may be worth something? Were in the books at over 100m at one point :))) | eezymunny
01/2/2019 13:20 | Is it a clean a shell, hopefully there are some nice accrued losses? | zcaprd7
01/2/2019 13:07 | Todays statement suggests that they may be able to sell the residual business. If so, what is it worth? | flyfisher
01/2/2019 12:53 | I hope they sell the German division, a transfer to management (for 1 pound no doubt) sounds a bit dodgy... Looks like they are waiting until brexit is out of the way. | zcaprd7
01/2/2019 11:56 | 28.5p Seems reasonable - NAV @ 30/06/18 was Euro 0.3623, £0.3181 at today's exchange rate. ...and a nice clean cash shell company left for who knows what! | thaaarg
01/2/2019 11:51 | I guess 28.5p if exch rate stable c. 1.14 | eezymunny
01/2/2019 11:47 | Any guesses on quantum of return? | cockerhoop
01/2/2019 11:22 | Very true.... He who turns and runs away, lives to fight another day. | rjmahan
01/2/2019 11:05 | www.investegate.co.u You're all scaredeycat nancy boys. | eezymunny
01/2/2019 09:58 | He's busy spending it! | meijiman
01/2/2019 08:21 | He's too busy figuring out the RNS system... Honestly, it's a month after when they said they'd return the money. | zcaprd7
31/1/2019 17:33 | and he is computer illiterate! | konradpuss
29/1/2019 10:34 | I think they said they had 1 employee left... | zcaprd7
29/1/2019 08:05 | There's probably no one left to update the web-site at this stage. | steve73
29/1/2019 07:35 | Not even a Financial Calendar for 2019 on the web site. I am hopeful it is any day now - the distribution not an acquisition. | konradpuss
23/1/2019 09:33 | Well, that can't take long, as they've done it before... Perhaps there is an MBO, and they are fretting over brexit? An update is imperative either way... | zcaprd7
22/1/2019 20:00 | I would like to think that the lawyers are just dotting the i's and crossing the t's. Let's hope it is just the methodology of distributing the cash and not a hopeless acquisition. I think the current management have seen the value of their shareholdings dwindle over the years so that they realise the value of the bird in the hand. | konradpuss
22/1/2019 14:08 | Yes, and no reply from the FD to my email, not great... | zcaprd7
22/1/2019 12:52 | So no news. Still nearly end of month for another salary cheque. | meijiman |
