20/11/2017 13:37 | Rackers, the castrated nonce must have a really boring existence. He just follows me round posting after every post of mine, to an audience of none. It is not my fault he lost everything on TERN, I never even bought it up! You need to take ownership of your anger. Your TERN losses are you fault! | elcapital2017
20/11/2017 12:49 | It sounds like you dont know what is happening numb nuts, just for a change. Why would Allagents have anything to hide? | elcapital2017
20/11/2017 12:43 | it will probably reach £49,995 and everyone will get their pledges undemanded, and the pathetic stunt will be over I hope they do raise it though, and laundry can bee washed in court I wonder whose will be dirtiest? | rogthepodge
20/11/2017 12:38 | Wow, I'm surprised the crowdfunding has done so well, even Toms chucked another £25 into the ring. A few more biggies and it might happen. As I understand it, pledges can only be pulled up to last 24 hours so everybody will have to cough up if the £50k is achieved. | tonybaloni
20/11/2017 12:25 | £41,785 raised of £50,000 target, 84%. 24 hours to go. | bbmsionlypostafter
20/11/2017 11:36 | will really rip into bricks and mortar agents, when people are belt tightening | rogthepodge
20/11/2017 10:52 | :-) seriously though u make a valid point there. PURP a model that works quite well id say in a buoyant market. Conversely ....... | rackers1
20/11/2017 10:32 | Rackers, I just gave your post a green tick, now 3 v 2! | andy
20/11/2017 10:31 | rackers, Not me, I think the ticking system is stupid. Someone also red ticked mine too! | andy
20/11/2017 10:26 | Nah short term bounce. | elcapital2017
20/11/2017 10:26 | Steady rise till results day Dec 13th, looking positive! | tallrugbyguy
20/11/2017 08:44 | fair point there Andy red ticked i see - thank you Andy | rackers1
20/11/2017 08:43 | Rog, Yes in every housing downturn estate agents go bust, and the next one will be no different, for sure. But to say PURP will hoover up all their business is too simplistic, the good agents will hoover up some business from that too. The weakness of the PURP model is the advance fee model, IMO, in a slow or moribund housing housing market. Sooner or later there will be press reports of people paying and not being able to sell, and then the estate agent only pay if you sell method will be the one to use. | andy
20/11/2017 08:38 | BBM, It doesn't look like it, shame as £40K is enough to fight PURP in the courts surely? | andy
20/11/2017 08:29 | £40,665 raised, 81% of the target achieved, 28 hours to go. Will they make it? I'm betting 'yes'. | bbmsionlypostafter
19/11/2017 23:44 | spell it out mate I am too thick to understand the smear | rogthepodge
19/11/2017 23:20 | Totally off topic - but does anyone else love those films where you get one brother who's intelligent, plausible and driven enough to pull off some implausible financial coup but is doomed to failure by his loyalty to his brother (or faithful sidekick) who's a bit thick/a loose cannon/just doesn't appreciate what's at stake? | henchard
19/11/2017 22:58 | above 360ish and im short again | elcapital2017
19/11/2017 22:57 | good luck with your short then 'Henchard' | rogthepodge
19/11/2017 22:46 | elcapital - purplebricks is a "disruptive" business, there's probably some kind of "waterfall effect" in the business model and I'm sure if the company did some investor "teach-ins" more PIs would understand what a brilliant investment this is ;) | henchard
19/11/2017 22:37 | there are lots of other low priced agents and bricks and mortar agents are now offering a light version. as usual, you are wrong | elcapital2017
19/11/2017 22:32 | a lot of bricks and mortar agents are going bust, if you are right Andy and PURP will take their business | rogthepodge
19/11/2017 22:11 | Rog, "so you are saying that volumes will reduce even further?" Yes I expect sales to stagnate, and volumes to fall. It's just like shares really, when a price falls people are reluctant to sell because they are locked in to a higher price mindset. It happened the last time house prices fell, and the time before that. Human nature doesn't change. | andy |
