19/9/2022 20:37 | CEPA report has nothing of any substance for further exploration or securing additional gas reserves from existing exploration licences. Yes the macro environment has changed massively since this report was commissioned and put together, but the continued mantra remains that oil won't get any sort of fair look in going forward. I think it is high time PVR start looking for the Government to refund the hundreds of millions spent in good faith on exploration. | theshenagainagain
19/9/2022 19:20 | gobaloon ignores all other views. Myopic view will be our undoing but he is loaded and can afford to pay more.. | hermana3
19/9/2022 15:16 | The gobaloon in full diarrhetic flow. Is he not aware the UK is pushing ahead with fracking, that when it comes on line would mean Ireland in its current sanctimonious condition would not be able to accept gas through the moffat gas interconnector . | roadster750
19/9/2022 11:48 | What a breath of fresh air listening to former head of ESB International Don Moore, obviously an intelligent learned man who is fully aware of what Irelands energy situation is, why the government couldn't have saved the taxpayer a heap of money by just asking his advice instead of farming it out to CEPA, then you look at the face of ryan and listen to that incoherent drivel.....🤦 | roadster750
19/9/2022 11:10 | Don't worry, the report will still be there tomorrow, and the media will need something else to discuss after the Queen | cephalosaurus

19/9/2022 10:23 | CEPA must be laughing all the way to the bank, being enriched by a clueless inept government to create a report that in reality is simply stating the bleeding obvious. | roadster750
19/9/2022 10:20 | Nice distraction, releasing the report on a day when the Queen's funeral is all the media want to focus on. | theshenagainagain
19/9/2022 09:40 | heard snippets of the CEPA report from media. not sure if it is going to do us an favours re exploration but it will cause Greens huge discomfort with LNG and gas storage and head in the sand tactics | wpc9
19/9/2022 07:34 | Yes the Ryan comedy show goes out today. Be prepared for him closing his eyes and trying to hypnotise the audience with his convoluted rhethoric. Frightening stuff indeed.... | hermana3
18/9/2022 13:58 | eamon will be promoting electric buses at the upcoming "lets stop the earth burning event" as the safe and clean alternative to dirty and dangerous derv buses, be sure to tell your granny to sit by the door. | roadster750
18/9/2022 13:33 | They had to do 348 takes of this video, this was the best of the bunch, if anyone is able to go to this event to meet eamon, could they please do the decent thing. | roadster750
17/9/2022 13:05 | Seán Kelly continues to raise the profile of indigenous resources and specifically Corrib and Barryroe in his interview on the Anton Savage show this morning,..GL S | swizz
17/9/2022 09:39 | The Board is thronged with people with expertise in Finance and Exploration. They wont be sailing on a gusty day... | hermana3
16/9/2022 20:52 | One lives in hope,Mary. | hermana3
16/9/2022 20:41 | The strategic review from last year stated that "We now have a clear understanding as to the funding requirement for the initial development in the Central area of the Barryroe Field. In essence, fresh equity funding is required in 2022 to finance an appraisal well in 2023 and preparatory work around the initial development project." Given that we are going into Q3 2022, I would like to think that the "fresh equity funding" is well advanced. | contrarymary
16/9/2022 20:14 | Finance is always an issue here and would be helpful to learn how they plan to finance further drilling of Barryroe. The main holders here are megabucks so will be interesting if they cough up for the drill. | hermana3
16/9/2022 19:39 | I would suggest there must be a very good reason for the board not to respond publicly at this stage and considering the frequency of Barryroe being discussed in political and media circles in recent weeks and with the CEPA energy security report only a few days away, perhaps we are very close to a material development and any public comment would be considered counter productive, as the financial reach of the major shareholders and their associated networks is without question very capable of delivering the project, …GL S | swizz
16/9/2022 19:13 | I would agree with you but the LG, wouldn't be known to suffer fools gladly and I can assure you, he won't stand for any nonsense from the BoD even if we have had to this past few years. Time will tell... | paulsavannah
16/9/2022 18:41 | i tend to agree with you now Mary. Up to BOD now. presumably work ongoing in the background to have cash available. now or never i am afraid. | wpc9
16/9/2022 14:25 | My fears now relate to the recent strategic review and management. We have had another change in senior management, an interim chief executive who doesn't say or appear to do a whole lot and we currently have no chairman. Will new management decide that the plan as outlined in the strategic review is all wrong and waste more time devising a new plan and strategy to their liking? To be fair to the government, pvr historically have shot themselves in the foot enough times to make a reasonable argument that they are not capable of progressing the licence. | contrarymary
16/9/2022 11:33 | There are two sides to most stories, and it would appear, after all these years, that funding Barryroe is, once again, being highlighted as the reason this licence is being withheld. From the comments made on the podcast, I would agree that PVR will not get a better opportunity than to challenge the comments made, by providing the proof that the necessary funding is available. Surely that shouldn't be too difficult if PVR indeed have the wherewithal to meet those criteria. As we all know attempts to raise the necessary funding have, in the past, been an absolute disaster and one could easily see why this has become a sticking point as well as becoming an ideal excuse for Ryan's reluctance to release the licence. It is now the time for our Board of Directors to stand up and be counted. The information we have been afforded over the past couple of years has been scant, to say the least, and the efforts made to successfully finalise this situation seem to hinge on the fact that they have "written twice" to Mr. Ryan. That at least is what we the shareholders, whose best interests they purport to represent, have been privy to. So just WHO is telling the truth and what else, if anything, has gone on between the two. We have now seen the comments of a government representative openly stating that they do not oppose Barryroe so if the funding of the initial development is in place there should be no problem in setting up a meeting between the two sides to settle that issue once and for all. This comment should now be the green light for interested parties to commit the funds and for PVR to be a bit more open about what is happening. The ball is then clearly in RYAN's court to respond. AIMHO regards. | peaeff |
