I posted awhile back that WHITEGATE refinery would not shutdown as a refinery. The news that its going to be modernised and the capacity refining output increase is excellent news. There are a HUGE amount of hydrocarbons just waiting to be discovered in the Celtic Sea and in the Southern Atlantic margin.

I am holding tight to my PVR and EOG shares. In say 5 years I should be s very well off retiree if I live that long.

Got out of hospital yesterday evening after spending 4 nights in there. I broke my back. Now in a brace and in a lot of pain. The pain killers help slightly.

I think I had best go to bed for a few hours.......................

GLA,
GD.

Exxon are not giving up on the Porcupine in general, they have six licences in the latest round (with Statoil), and so they must have lost faith in the Dunquin licence, or prefer to work with Statoil.

Over at LOGP the directors would have been out of a job without the last placing, they are squarely dependant on the operator of Barryroe getting their act together. The positive still remains that PVR didn't allocate the last fund raising for Barryroe, which ought to imply this is being taken care of by other means (farmout)...but who knows.

It's the same over at LOGP the board and directors held a miserly sum of shares . The whole thing has been disgusting .

"The initial three year term of the FEL expires in early July 2016. At least three months before the end of the initial term a work programme for the second term must be proposed. That programme must include the drilling of an exploration well".

EOG have recently announced that they have been granted an extension of the initial term of their ex Kosmos licences, but AEY have not yet done so, perhaps there is to be no extension?

No buyers basically because they've given up on the hype.
God only knows what the Insti's were thinking about.

I note Antrim values its Porcupine basin Skellig prospect at zero.

No one is interested in Barryroe, too risky as its compartmentalized.
Rest of cash wasted on wildcat drilling, yachting sponsorship, tanning oil and legal costs.
Raise some more cash at 5p.
