Did you see SKY News late last night? India is sending food aid to Saudi Arabia to Indians that have not been paid by construction companies that have not paid them for several months. Construction has stopped in Saudi because of the lack of money. Makes you wonder if SA has over done their oversupply of oil to the world and is now feeling the monetary affects in its society. I think the messed up somewhat!

Totally agree, and would not be suprised if a feasibility study is not already underway for a FEED. These industries do look well into the future!

Thank you for the link.

IMHO 'If and When' the Whitegate Oil Refinery were sold. Being a retired oil and gas construction engineer I would mothball the refinery and use it just for storage.

Once the development of the oil fields are verified as producers and the development of the oil fields commences in the Celtic Sea I would then carry out a FEED to fully revamp the refinery to make the South and North of Ireland fully self sufficient in all the refined products refined from the oil that would be transported via pipeline to the revamped refinery.

Whitegate oil refinery

"A spokesperson for the Department of Communications, Climate and Environment, said P66 has advised the Government of its intention to sell the refinery as an operational facility, and of “their intention to operate the refinery on a business as usual basis” in the meantime."

Feel the Heat! :-) At least in US anyway. Henry Hub gas price jumped ~8% yesterday.

The monthly oil challenge is on.....deadline for entry is midnight this Sunday.
