28/10/2005 11:16 | The accounting reference date is still listed as 31st March, so there should be some Interims before the end of the year. Just how much financial info is released at that time remains to be seen. If in the event, they remain coy on the trading and financial position, I expect the share to be hammered further. Maybe to 6p/share, which would be fitting, since it would knock out the management options from the 2004 open offer. Really, at this point in time, they don't have much credibility. The market needs to see some P&L and BS numbers... | katylied
28/10/2005 09:02 | Damn, if I only I had sold at just over 11p, now very gutted. | ndoody
26/10/2005 07:27 | Hi Shavian, Ultra keeps popping up in news alerts, but it's the same story that's been doing the rounds for most of this year. I see the website is re-named, but 'will be updated shortly' -ie. not soon. | jonwig
25/10/2005 11:37 | And what's happened to Ultra motor?? | shavian
22/10/2005 09:12 | Another Keronite article: Worth keeping an eye on the 'old stuff'. Trouble is, any losses/interest charges from the cleaning cos might wipe out residual value. | jonwig
06/10/2005 07:35 | Well the CEO is cerainly confident. This from the article: " Meanwhile, Keronite CEO Lars Olrik said he is interested in expanding his firm's reach in the United States. His company announced several initiatives Tuesday in addition to the partnership with Thixomat. It is opening a sales office in Southfield and is planning a manufacturing operation in Indianapolis. Olrik said the coating process could be used to make hardened light metal parts throughout a car from piston cylinders to dashboard components. Olrik said he expects revenue to grow by 50 to 60 percent this year and at that rate for several years to come. " | orange1
06/10/2005 06:57 | Keronite teams up with Thixomat in the US: Looks one very interesting company. FLT (I mean PROV) will be keen to realise some cash when it's floated, maybe? | jonwig
05/10/2005 11:11 | Many thanks jonwig. Hope your investment does well. Red day generally it seems though. | maytrees
05/10/2005 10:57 | Maytrees. I'm sorry to read that, but DYOR always, of course! The key factor in PROV is, I think, the Loan Notes which are the real cost of acquiring the cleaning companies. The T&Cs of these are in the prospectus, of course, but hardly mentioned in the RNS. On the other hand, they did manage to place new shares at 14p when the market price was ~10p. | jonwig
05/10/2005 10:47 | jonwig's post sowed nagging doubts and in the end, I got cold feet with PROV on seeing its small share price falls whittle away my gains so sold and added to bsp and nml where risk/reward factors are more to my liking. | maytrees
04/10/2005 08:38 | Assault and Battery?? PROV owns 9.7% of Intellikraft. | jonwig
03/10/2005 10:17 | The rise in HDD has added ~0.3p to FLT's assets. In post #44 I estimated the 'legacy assets' to be worth ~6.7p/sh, so it's now ~7p. All this could become important - though, as KL says (post #63) the success or otherwise, of the cleaning companies will be the major factor in the medium term. | jonwig
03/10/2005 09:37 | Yes indeed... though holding HDD directly (as I do) would seem to make better sense | katylied
03/10/2005 09:02 | Well its large stake in Hardide is currently worth over 16% more than it was yesterday! | maytrees
02/10/2005 18:59 | When the P&L and balance-sheet gets published FSE. That is when the disappointment will get factored in. With a mktcap of still well over £20m, it hasn't happend yet... | katylied
29/9/2005 09:11 | And another PROV share price tick up. Successful placing at 14p announced within the last couple of days, does seem (so dyor) to make individual investing at c.10p worthwhile. The 9.35p buys posted above, already in profit | maytrees
28/9/2005 20:02 | In all fairness the price recently has been factoring in a lot of disappointment and no news etc... Its always possible that the situation is better than we all seem to think ... who knows but it does not seem like a share to bail out of when they are trashed.... | fse
28/9/2005 15:51 | I am hoping this is my chance to sell out without loss to be honest. | ndoody
27/9/2005 18:17 | I am totally and utterly confused by whats going on..... looks like i am not the only one. I continue to hold a few shares in blind hope... | fse
27/9/2005 14:26 | Someone seeking a roundabout stake in HDD perhaps? Recent HDD T/O romours - see my earlier post. | maytrees
27/9/2005 12:41 | That announcement in full: Proventec announces today that it has placed 7,142,587 new ordinary shares at a placing price of 14p per share, to raise #1 million before expenses. Commenting on the Placing, David Chestnutt, Chief Executive said: "We are delighted that we have raised these funds at 14p. The monies will be used to fund working capital and to further accelerate the business." Back in August the company announced that it proposed placing up to 14,285,714 shares at 14p per share. On 25 August it announced that it had placed 3,871,428 shares at 14p per share. Today's announcement brings the total placed at 14p to 11,014,015. Not bad at all! | orange1
27/9/2005 12:34 | Who thinks they are worth 14p, I wonder? | grgkecer
26/9/2005 09:06 | Added some more PROV at 9.35p Best time to buy into a co which has assets imho is when everybody else is leaving! | maytrees
23/9/2005 09:05 | Good morning jonwig TX for yr post. I should have thought of looking at the HHD thread which I will now do! | maytrees |
