15/9/2006 18:06 | farewell to £30k - my own stupid fault as should have got out at 9p but believed Mr Bream who at the time was as disappointed with the share price as I was and it was all down to the markets in general. Must see if I can find the email on my old pc print it out and have it framed for when I draw my reduced pension. Just hope the previous directors get shafted one day and see how they like it. You watch sales of in2it soar after the dust settles. | digger27
15/9/2006 17:09 | no not the directores cart, their cart is in much more suuny and wealthy climes | lyceeuk
15/9/2006 16:48 | And so comes to the end another British company. The cart has reached the end of the rocky road and is all shaken to pieces. | dogdays
15/9/2006 10:32 | RIP Provalis. 15 September 2006 Provalis plc Results of Extraordinary General Meeting At today's Extraordinary General Meeting of Provalis plc ('Provalis' or 'the Company') the resolutions to approve the Members' Voluntary Liquidation of the Company were passed and the cancellation of the listing of the shares will be effective from 8.00 a.m. on Monday 18 September 2006. Following the passing of the resolutions, the joint liquidators have now been appointed and, with immediate effect, Peter Woodford, Alan Aikman and Lee Greenbury have resigned as directors of the Company. | v11slr
15/9/2006 10:32 | I wonder who is going to turn the lights out? If they leave it to the liquidators they will probably charge for it and at a very high rate from my experience! It will be interesting to see if we ever get our 0.4p per share next year,i somehow doubt it. What a sorry tale Provalis/Cortecs was! | gazzastrip
06/9/2006 10:50 | Tilton - Villa for my sins! If they do pay out 0.4p then you stand to double your money more or less. I was thinking along the same lines myself but having lost a packet on these already am cautious to say the least. Did make a bit on Recognition Systems a few years ago in a similar situation. Anyway bluenose or not best of luck with this. digger27 | digger27
06/9/2006 09:44 | digger, Big bluenose, what is your persuasion? I've bought a very small number at 0.16p this morning and I'm trying to buy some more. I know you guys have lost a lot of money on this, and I have every sympathy for you. I just see an opportunity at these prices. I know there is the risk that they may not pay out the full 0.4p, but it is one I'm prepared to take. From 2000 to 2003 I got involved in a dozen or so cash shells which paid out more than the price I paid for them. I appreciate it is a long wait (11months), but if they do payout 0.4p, then it will be an excellent return. I had presentations from these guys on a couple of occasions a few years ago, but thankfully never bought the shares, even though there seemed to be a compelling story. tiltonboy | tiltonboy
06/9/2006 09:12 | Well I've just bailed out my 200k. After costs that gives me a net loss of £19,150. Which is going to make me a very poor pensioner. Cheers Provalis. | dh1967
06/9/2006 00:05 | hterag; So that makes 91% that not only can't read - but have also done their money. Is that any clearer? | thebarrelboy
05/9/2006 21:58 | digger, The 5m was a purchase;mine. I've had the order in the market for a couple of weeks and got filled today. tiltonboy | tiltonboy
05/9/2006 19:45 | digger,no but chp is looking hot. | trotting12
05/9/2006 19:31 | I see the large sales of 5,000,000 and 250,000 got much better prices than the smaller sales. Private punter being shafted to the bitter end makes you want to vomit. As far as FSA goes it may as well shut up shop for all the good it does but I suppose it needs to be there to pay out wages to its toothless guard dogs which have to be fed. Trots that 5 mill wasnt you was it? | digger27
03/9/2006 15:38 | guys some of you will remember me,take a look at chp ,i hold millions and i think it will more than make up for my losses here,,,no ramp just my opinion. | trotting12
31/8/2006 06:29 | In reply to hterag1 re FSA. Had reply from Hugh.Davis@fsa.gov.u He agreed with me the share price has been in decline & a number of disposals of assets as well as board changes - but asserts that the market has been kept informed of the disposals. Also the disposals have been subject to the approval by shareholders at EGM's. Again the MVL is subject to shareholders approval. He has no comment about board salaries paid to directors or payouts to former directors as these are commercial decisions. I mentioned 2 further points in my email which he has answered as follows: You allege that the company has been secretly handled with false information being given to shareholders and you also state that the company has run out of money - I would be very grateful if you would mind providing me with information you have to back these allegations. Anyone care to email with an answer to Hugh.Davis@fsa.gov.u | bentleyt1

30/8/2006 12:45 | Do any of you think that someone could come in with a better offer before the death or am I just grasping at straws.? (very expensive ones!) | dh1967
29/8/2006 23:15 | hterag1 Wan warned all of us about 3 years ago - so continue to direct the blame where it belongs - Gould etc. | thebarrelboy
24/8/2006 00:06 | Wheres the Archangel Wan when you need him? | hterag1
19/8/2006 12:34 | I am soooo angry with Gould and Harding, they are getting away with murder. It really is attrocious. | alibongo612
18/8/2006 11:14 | What a mess caused by poor and 'economical with the truth' directors. Everyone shold follow hterag1's idea posted 17/8/06 to contact the FSA. I have and am awaiting a reply. | bentleyt1 |
