15/3/2006 08:40 | Thread opening post changed. As suggested in the original opening post, the stagnation and decline has came to fruition, and survival looks very remote at best. Over and out! | wan

14/3/2006 19:04 | Mkt Cap £5m represented by :- cash £3m which is burning rapidly; a 'broken'piece of technology that may take more than that to fix it and even if fixed no means of distribution in the US;some licensed out vaccine technology that at best is years away from producing revenues and has so little prospects that Pro barely refers to it. This is not simply a stock with bad news priced in but potentially a candidate for liquidation as I have been indicating for about a year. | alibongo612
14/3/2006 11:27 | well i think pro is worth a GAMBLE, i make most of my dosh buying in to small companys that are riddled with bad news (esp Pharmys and health care companys )as most of the bad news is already in the price, the slightest bit of good news and they romp away, nine times out of ten they bounce at some point but you have to be patient and dont put your shirt on them as they are, as i said earlier GAMBLES MDY is a recent example. good luck | mmickyboy
12/3/2006 14:41 | ME AGAIN.MEANT BUY AROUND 1.25 PENCE!(not 2.250) | mudbath
12/3/2006 13:58 | Sorry,dwilco67 and others to post again. All I am pointing out in earlier posts is that in my view ,the present share price of provalis represents option money on its potentially HUGE revenues from its vaccines. At its slightly higher level of 1.35pence investors are probably looking at money back if nothing exciting happens or a doubling of the present price just as soon as the market senses that the partnered vaccine development might be about to be thesubject of positive comment. For those of you who continue to disagree ,or even deride my approach to the valuation of this company,I would stress that this is not idle ramping, but the result of detailed investigation into the latest progress made by Provalis partners ,CHIRON,AVENTIS PASTEUR and GLAXO SMITH KLINE in connection with their relevent clinical trials.Just by way of verification ,IT IS OF GREAT INTEREST that in the march 4th issue of THE LANCET an article appeared covering the successful trial by G.S.K. of a"novel protein based vaccine to protect against Otitis Media in infants .(Exactly as described in the Provalis 2004 report.)Similar pogress has been made by CHIRON who extended their development license until June 2006.NEWS will therefore be forthcoming from CHIRON within 4 months and from A.P.at the end of 2006.Whatever YOUR view it srikes me as BIZARRE that the directors chose to devote only one sentence to this exciting prospect, particularl | mudbath

09/3/2006 12:01 | You bears keep on dumping whilst I fill up daily ,at around 1.12pence.One whiff of positive news and Provalis shares will double from this level in short order.Once the stock gets up to 2.24pence then I will post again with suggestions for further strategy. My shrink has bought a bundle as well .Says I am the shrewdist Governor of the Bank of England that he knows. | mudbath
09/3/2006 10:06 | As I have said repeatedly on this thread Gould and Harding have a lot to answer for. If they received termination payments it would be disgraceful. | alibongo612
09/3/2006 00:18 | Why on earth would anyone pay anything like £8m ? | alibongo612
08/3/2006 22:47 | mudbath get a reality check if pro dosnt sell the diognostics division in the next 4 months then administration, redun Even if they do sell the assets the most they are goins to get is £8 million ,which after costs is were the share price is today Your continued positive outlook reminds me of that montypython sketch about the the knight whos arms and legs had been cut off. | dwilco67
08/3/2006 10:37 | Mudbath, Can't find anyone posting by that name. ?? | solis
07/3/2006 20:16 | DIGGER,if Provalis did wind down and distribute any residual cash to shareholders we would still be left with a holding in a shell company .I do not see how shareholders cannot benefit from a possible bonanza if one of the vaccines comes up trumps. At least one vaccine must be showing potential as a partner has requested an extension on the originally agreed time scale for evaluation. The Directors will of course be the first to know of any positive news. This is why I would wary of any opportunistic buyout proposal.Only time will tell but there was originally talk of £20million if the vaccines proved a commercial success.IT IS a long shot but I want to participate if it goes in. | mudbath
07/3/2006 17:59 | Mudbath - if the diagnostics division is sold and the company ceases trading after distributing whats left to the shareholders then surely that is it. If after trade ceases and then one of the vaccines takes off big time where would that leave us or how would we know they have come good? | digger27
07/3/2006 15:06 | Was just checking back in on PRO to see if this fall made an opportunity to get back in, but from what I see I'll be keeping clear. I was very lucky to get about a year or so ago at 10p with a 30% profit. | dirtysteve
07/3/2006 14:19 | SEE POSTS ON FUSSEYS THREAD. | mudbath
07/3/2006 14:04 | Digger-this is just what I meant. You are now thinking that a 2pence offer sounds good.NO NO NO.If any one of the vaccines proves commercially viable ,thepayments to Provalis should DWARF its present capitalisation. | mudbath
07/3/2006 13:46 | mudbath - I hope you are right as I have been badly mugged with this one, nearly £30k lost so far. This was going to be my pension booster so looks like I will be working till I am 80 if my employers will let me! An offer of 2p looks good at the moment but we shall wait and see. | digger27
07/3/2006 13:40 | After losses of £100M+ what is there to say ? | solis |
