Thats a given-hardly surprising-and where OPEC, Russia and most investors want it as no one wants to see a resurgence in US shale. Investors will not back shale, nor will US banks who will now demand a premium as well, if oil remains around $60 as margins are too fine (in the current climate)and the possibility OPEC may decide to take it back down to $40 at any time (wiping more shale investors out) will now concentrate minds. I'm happy with $58-62 for a couple of years and so will most producers be as well.

Oil likely to see downward correction over the coming months, Commerzbank says
"(I expect) the price of oil to correct by at least 10 to 15 percent over the coming months because the current fundamentals are not justifying this kind of strength," Eugen Weinberg, head of commodities research at Commerzbank, told CNBC on Friday

US crude surges more than 2%, settling at $61.63, its best closing price since December 2014
U.S. crude oil prices rise to the highest level in 2½ years, topping $61 a barrel.
Concerns over protests in Iran, OPEC's third biggest oil producer, have roiled markets.
Analysts warn that there is no direct threat to Iran's oil exports and the market has gotten very bullish on crude, potentially setting up a pullback.

I also like to read the contrarian view.. but I'm just a little concerned that some of his comments toward Tony may be construed as libelous!!

I definitely wouldn't try trading this - I'm strictly buy and hold when it comes to shares.

But some of the smaller crypto's have daily swings of 20-30% every 24 hours (even on xmas and NYD). Setting buy & sell limits well within those extremes, there's a reasonably achievable potential 10-20% gain every day if you get it right.. I've still a long way to go for that... but improving.

As for Marv, I like him. I find him funny the garbage he comes out with.

If I were you though Steve I would turn yourself blue and ban him from your thread just for the fun of it :-)

Then have a little chuckle to yourself lol

Very well done Steve.

I havent had the proper time to look into the Crypto's still but have a very simplistic strategy if Bitcoin takes a sharp dip.

Its simply to buy 1 Bitcoin CFD contract at (example) around $13000 to then sell at around $14000 for a quick $1000 profit. Nil trades so far though. Seems plenty of buyers on each dip that's for sure.

Whilst early days, since the LSE changed increments on Tue 2 Jan'18 on the likes of PMO from .25p to .05p Ive seen my daily profits fall (could easily earn anything from £0 each day to a few thousand on .25p increments but had a poor Tuesday and Wednesday where I earned around £100 profit each day) Today has been better thanks to holding an overnight CFD long here but still not convinced.

Am finding these ridiculously small sized bots on the bids / offers makes it really hard to interpret and then taking a decent sized position at your target price is also much harder to achieve now. Place a 50k order on a certain level of a bid and stupidly small sized bots jump you and take the shareprice up a notch lol

I missed out on the entire ENQ rise sadly. Kinda gutted after tracking and trading them many times over the past few months.
