Strikes over new Zimbabwe currency
Zimbabwe's largest labour organisation said it planned protests over the government's decision to ban the use of foreign currencies as legal tender.

President Emmerson Mnangagwa's government said his plan to make the interim RTGS dollar the only legal currency was an important step in mending the economy.

If the government does not reverse this ruinous policy immediately and announce US dollar salary payments, we will immediately mobilise workers for mass action," Zimbabwe Congress of Trade Unions president Peter Mutasa told a news conference.

just had a call with Faud. they're in great spirits. the 'cutting it right to the wire for the release' has nothing to do with the fact that GR misplaced most of his dinner receipts (which is true but besides the point) but it's cause prem hired an ace graphic designer for the cover of the annual reports. it's the same guy who did the Circum redesign. prepare to be blown away on Friday!

"The proceeds of the Loan Agreement will be used to support the ongoing development and general working capital of the Company."

read that as:

"The proceeds of the Loan Agreement will be used for the Fat Controllers salary and travel expenses."

soon GR will stop talking about the 6 mil. The main point of all this 6 mil was just to be able to do a couple raises. So let’s see what new idea GR comes up with to do the next couple raises. Circum is at best 12 months away so he can’t use that. My feeling is that GR brings backs the trusty ‘JV’ that never materialises in the end.

I would say there’s money to be made when this hits the 0.05s but with the upcoming placing I don’t there is....

Exactly as I said you are trading this and trying to offer advice to others that you are fully conversant with all the facts. You are not.

I lost money on AIM I don't have a problem admitting it. The vast majority of people trading AIM stocks do over the middle to long term if they even last that long, and that includes you. The smart thing to do is to know when to stop and forget the whole idea that this is some easy vehicle to make money.

I have re-couped my losses outside of this arena, through other business ventures that I have.

I would never ever go near another AIM stock, it's a casino, but the odds are far worse than most people realise at outset. No matter how much research company driven, technical or charting or whatever else you want to do, you are at the mercy and whim of most of the BOD's of theses AIM companies who just run them as life style vehicles, a prime example of which is here.

You carry on fooling yourself that you are doing well, matters not to me logman, or maybe you are one of the very few that can actually make money from AIM in which case I tip my hat to you, however I'm fairly certain I know the answer.

Well if anyone 'expects' the circum situ to have been resolved by year end, then you need your heads examining! This company is on life support and just waiting for the plug to be pulled. GR the ultimate AIM CEO.

Shine, if you are averaging in midteens get buying if funds allow.Unless you are on a free ride with profits from last year. Possibly dip lower but not much, trading well below nav now.

bad news people. the rain coat company has decided to go with another offer. this is seriously bad news. I'm worried we might be testing new lows next week.

also, not sure where some of the folks on the lse board got the information about a circum dividend. GR is on record saying point blank there will be no dividend and that the money (if it ever comes) will be used by prem to 'generate shareholder value'. so get ready for some random asset purchases!!!

So mal, you see the position the company is in as quite positive then? I fail to see that myself at the moment. Very little cash, circum now many months away and who knows if and when the zim government will stump up. Meanwhile the CEO on £300K per year (some in shares at all time low).

If the CEO lent the company his salary with a sensible interest rate and no hold on assets, I believe that would send a strong signal
