They take a year to build (pre Covid), then it has to be tested and certified. So even if they started a first one tomorrow, that implies July 2022, plus time for testing and certification, so probably 2023 imo. Add in the Covid Delta variant spreading fast and the long winter months ahead when cases will further increase, could add another six months, for a first site. Then start a second site H2 2023 and finish 2024. That is if everything goes well but the Chairman has warned it could still spew out problems. I take that as an understatement. I think the CEO leaving this month and another Director leaving next month could be a very bad sign and not something to be taken lightly, particularly at this point when they face the big hurdle of trying to go from an 'agricultural' prototype to a larger scale unit and deal with the problems. It's high risk and years away.Lemmings and mushrooms only.

Includes: Tim Harper, Element 2 CEO:
“As we work to procure renewable hydrogen to supply our refueling stations, we are pleased to be able to include Ways2H and their Circular Economy approach to producing hydrogen from waste as part of the Element 2 network.”

click on: 'producing hydrogen from waste'

Includes: 'This will be Peel NRE’s second facility of this nature and will be located in West Dunbartonshire.
Peel NRE, a part of Peel Land & Property, has unveiled its plans for a second waste plastic to hydrogen facility. This one will be installed on the River Clyde’s north bank at the Rothesay Dock in West Dunbartonshire.

The facility will cost £20 million (USD$28.3 million) and will use non-recyclable plastics.
The waste plastic to hydrogen facility will use non-recyclable plastics that would otherwise be sent to the landfill, would be incinerated, or would be shipped overseas. The goal is to use this material as a sustainable hydrogen source. The H2 produced at the facility will be used as a zero-emission fuel for powering HGVs, buses and cars. The intention is to install a linked H2 refueling station at the site.

The 13,500-metric tonne facility represents the second of its nature in the United Kingdom. They are using new technologies developed by Powerhouse Energy Group plc (LON stock symbol PHE), following the development of its plans for a similar facility located at the Cheshire Peel NRE Protos site, which received approval in 2019.'

Just days away from losing the second CEO in a row, and the Chairman recently admitting to Zak Mir:"I don't want to suggest everything will go smoothly for the first of the kind. It may spew out some things we didn't expect or didn't want"It's a sorry state of affairs imo. I wouldn't be surprised if it's a complete failure.

Fvck chung,

Only two weeks ago you or your chum deccer rebuked me for saying Covid restrictions had slowed the W2T merger down and subsequent office based development.

Now your using some possible further spread of the pandemic as a reason for Powerhouse not meeting the 1st quarter 2022 DMG build completion date.

chung, your so lacking, you are now re-using other posters words as your own. A Mug like you just doesn't have the creativity to think of "oh don't tease"

tenepen, oh don't tease. You know they have previously said it will take a year to build (pre Covid), then it has to be tested and certified. So even if they started tomorrow, that implies July 2022, plus time for testing and certification, so probably 2023 imo. Of course, they now have the Covid Delta variant spreading fast to contend with and the long winter months ahead when cases will further increase, which could add another six months, taking it to H2 2023. It could drag on for years.Lemmings and mushrooms only.

Could it be there soon won't be any board members left at this rate, other than the 76 year old one, who has no engineering qualifications as far as I am aware and I wonder how often he even goes into the office to make his invaluable contribution? No chance of having a system built this year and all the problems they could still face, recently alluded to by the 76 year old Chairman.Lemmings and mushrooms only.

In the recent damming words of the seventy six year old Chairman, Interview with Zak Mir, 6/6/2021:"I don't want to suggest everything will go smoothly for the first of the kind. It may spew out some things we didn't expect or didn't want"No wonder the CEO is about to leave at the end of this month, followed by a Director early next month. Dosn't say much for their confidence in the prospects if you ask me.

As soon as the DMG is up and running D Ryan's job for Powerhouse is as good as over. Sure powerhouse will want to keep him on as a part time consultant. After such a success, D Ryan be will be gold dust. He will be able to name his price with many a engineering company. He has been a star for Powerhouse, doing duel rolls to save cash and keeping the operation tight. I hope powerhouse look after him.

Yet the bashers didn't like the way he talked ::: MUGS:::

I have no knowledge of Dave Ryan doing anything less other than staying on as a Consultant, perhaps after a short well earned break. His replacement has been involved with the project from the start so surely has faith in it.LOL
