The technology that PHE is using cannot be patented, this is because the technology has already been patented many years ago by Pyromex, and the patents have now expired. There is no unique software to patent. As I have said before the technology PHE is using is the Pyromex technology just dressed-up to look different and the technology will never work commercially until new materials are discovered to allow the technology to operate commercially. As to the comments of Paul Warwick through his different guises, although amusing, I am not sure if he is an absolute fool or a totally dishonest person. He certainly has a conflict of interest in respect of his comments. I have always been concerned for the genuine honest investors in PHE, but I suppose by now there should be none left, although if there are, I am afraid they will lose their investment.

well, linesal, of course everyone is entitled to their 'O' of course, IMO, but as per usual, you seem to be determined to latch on to any utterance issued by PHE, regardless of substance, to attach more than face value, and to run it to the point of stretching any credulity that may have been there.
rumours of IP filings are cheap - in fact worthless. actual filings could, and should, have been initiated years ago. and as far as i am aware, software is not the critical component - this is a physical engineering process, where it's actual materials and chemical/mechanical processes that are fundamental.
and btw, for the PHE pumpers/fan club, i would wish PHE all the success in the world, if they had anything to offer other than BS and promises. please don't bother me with 'feasibility studies' and 'working prototypes' and 'revenue contracts' (with their partners/part owners W2T!)

IP filling is on going, there will obviously be more to it once the full size unit is built, the software seems to be the key part for now which is protected by there inbuilt security. IMO

the blather in the 27 june rns is just that - blather. you cannot have a generic patent and to refer to a family of 'generic and specific' patents is an oxymoron. you either have filed an application; or you haven't. the very act of lodging an application gives you some protection - up until the patent is rejected (or lapsed/expired) that IP is yours, therefore, a lack of IP filings is proof that there is nothing worth protecting. if you don't believe me, call any IP lawyer

Mr Chung if you had sufficient motivation, you could find that information in ten minutes. But also your constant reference to free falling rodents is also misguided, a few minutes research on this matter would provide the correct answer. Wake up Ken!

Thank you !

That is helpful.

'.....These will mature in parallel.....'

Still gives an implication of IP protection being processed but not yet completed.

Development investment is still awaited.

Perhaps this will help. Extract from the RNS dated 27 June:

"Intellectual Property

The research and technology development IP is protected within the chemical engineering models and control systems of the process and the Company has been particularly focused on retaining this unique knowledge within the teams. In project development these algorithms will be retained with control equipment that remains under the ownership of the Company.

Notwithstanding this specific knowledge retention, the Company has chosen to protect the IP within a family of generic and specific patent applications. These will mature in parallel with the development programme ensuring that the know-how developed through the engineering, commissioning and operation of the early DMG sites is captured to provide a greater depth of IP and patent protection."

I'm hope that they do.

It would be irresponsible to allow visitors to see their plant if IP has not been protected.

Ceres who announced another licencing agreement today have been very scrupulous on IP protection.

Did I see somewhere that, in PHE's case some of the protection, had been applied for but not necessarily already granted.

Worldwide competition in this area is immense.

They are doing just that. Take a look at the RNS dated 27th June, it's explained in there.

The mainstream media never leave their office, investigate anything or proactively seek anything these days. It's just a sign of the times. What the article will do is raise awareness.

Still not the faintest evidence that the Mail's reporter ever left his office and actually saw what he is describing. So what's new? Hopes, assertions, claims: all dreams projected to raise money

Any potential investors will want to conduct their due diligence so it might not be evident of any positive impact for a little time yet.
