Batteries are not the future as the carbon footprint of production is greater than the Diesel motors it is intended to replace. DYOR

Weichai Power are working toward using Solid Oxide fuel cells developed by CERES POWER (CWR) as range extendets for electric buses in China.
Weichai now own 20% of CWR.

Solid Oxide fuel cells have the advantage of running on methane or biofuels, not just pure hydrogen.

If you take into account the number of petrol and diesel vehicles to be replaced there is plenty of room for both technologies, both battery and hydrogen.

Electric batteries are becoming faster to charge and developing ever increasing ranges. They are the future.

Thank you for 10393.

The financial press still has to raise awareness of the Hydrogen economy and needs to support British companies in this area.

"Electric power for cars “has its limits” and cars will be hydrogen-powered from 2030, an automotive-industry expert has said." - Auto Express

Let's hope so :o)

Agreed !

There is no logic in selling right now.

If development investment results from the visit/s it will be a game changer.

These two announcements say it all

Why would anyone sell prior to this visit which may have business changing results? It is the time to top up and not sell.

Lucky Jim.Hope you enjoy your job as Pope on Mars, at least then we won't have to listen to your views on PHE.

Steverbet, Is no one bothered that the technology doesn’t work commercially. I am well aware that Paul Warwick & Co, who is a substantial shareholder in PHE, puts a big thing on the independent report saying the technology is feasible, but so is putting a man on Mars, of for that matter of me being the next Pope.

They obviously need to raise a lot more cash as they would need 15 to 20 DMG's running perfectly 24/7 just to cover current admin costs and they are recruiting more staff this yearvand obviously those cash needs will continue for many years.

In a high risk/high reward speculative investment, development to commercial industrial scale, testing reliability etc, can burn millions.

In CWR's case they have convinced partner/collaborators to put in £50 million plus.

The ideal scenario will be Toyota, or similar, putting in massive development funds and the rising share price being consolidated. ( As in CWR's case)

It is childish bellyaching to buy 1/2p shares and expect a fortune overnight.

That idea is for infants being spoon fed in their high chairs.

Throwing toys out of the pram or using directors as dartboards is infantile.

vat, why do you keep taking the bait ?

Replying to the posts justs gives the bashers oxygen to keep posting the same pap !. Asking questions you can not answer !. And if you could answer, they will just ingnore and keep to thier agenda Your making it easy.

Isn't the definition of madness, 'asking the same question but expecting a different answer' ?.

From RNS:
'David Ryan will hold 11,075,000 Ordinary Shares and Christopher Vanezis will hold 5,358,750 Ordinary Shares in the Company, which represents 0.58% and 0.28% respectively of the Company’s enlarged issued ordinary share capital and voting rights.'

More than 50% of the company is owned by 'Substantial Shareholders'. See the Annual Report.
These 'Substantial Shareholders' are not all seeking to waste money. They will research with care.

In Cheshire, PHE are tenants of an ambitious multi-billion company. The landlords here are very savvy and very ambitious in the waste management/power from waste area.

See what the Japanese make of things before bellyaching again.

Why obsess. with the Chairman? The CEO and the Finance Officer will have massive additional holdings.

See latest RNS.

Also Brent Fitzpatrick 103K shares and James Greenstreet 1million shares. Also listed in the Annual Report.

I have some of these in family ISAs and some on paper so have a hard copy of the the Annual Report.

Next year I will request the Annual Report online.

Saving the planet yet again.

That's a fair point. Although I may not agree with you on this particular occasion, it is nevertheless a fair point.

But you did care enough to post your sneering comments.

But just to keep you happy here is my opinion, not a question.

In my opinion a company is not a good investment if an experienced city director who is also chairman of the company doesn't hold any share in the business.
