22/7/2015 09:17 | Good time for newbies to join. I can see a 20% upside within 6 months I have been in here from 12p! | moorsie2
21/7/2015 18:16 | And a welcome from me janeann. Interesting turnaround in the share price today proves this is under accumulation imo. | cfro
21/7/2015 16:38 | Welcome janeann, The last trading update was very strong and so early into the new financial year, no wonder they said they will be significantly ahead, there were three separate driving forces imo. Acquisition boost with lower integration costs. Strong performance in USA and China. Lower costs (Raw material) The strong Dollar versus the Euro is a benefit to Powerflute. | interceptor2
21/7/2015 16:16 | Joined you all yesterday - came across the last TU by chance and liked the story here; looking very positive today! | janeann
21/7/2015 13:59 | Bought some more also Ic2. :-) | cfro
21/7/2015 12:11 | Still think we have a large buyer in the background here. Yesterday there was some buying pressure, but no transactions that would indicate a closing spread of 75-77. There were about 6 sell transactions this morning but the spread didn't budge, out of interest I tried a Fill/Kill at 76.5p, but it failed, so I topped up at the market share price 76.7p. Even a small amount of buying pressure would be interesting imo. | interceptor2
20/7/2015 15:11 | new breakout area - will see 80p cleared soon and keep above that number | moorsie2
14/7/2015 14:06 | Added a few more on todays dip. (Didnt expect it to dip today after such strong buying these last few days). | cfro
13/7/2015 19:36 | Still looks like POWR are under accumulation, over 2 million share transactions today. | interceptor2
09/7/2015 14:14 | The 6 month period ended 30th June, I wouldn't be surprised if we see another trading update soon, because they normally issue a pre close update. The last trading update on 15th May was early in the period, it was so bullish that I think they had to release it as soon as they were aware that they would be significantly ahead imo. Noticed volume is at 400k already, the average daily volume is between 30k to 100k. | interceptor2
09/7/2015 10:05 | Breakout time again now due - this can run all the way to £1 | moorsie2
09/7/2015 10:03 | Agreed, it does now look to be under accumulation. A 50k buy @73p not long ago. I've taken the plunge today and bought in after watching these intensively the last few weeks. | cfro
09/7/2015 09:05 | POWR Powerflute chart looks interesting, I noticed that there have been two large volume spikes in July as can be seen on the chart, 2nd July = 9.46m @69.5p and yesterday = 6.06m @ 70p, I can't tell if these were buys or sells, but looking at the share price action since and the breakup over 70p I can only conclude that the transactions are a positive. Could be under accumulation? | interceptor2
27/6/2015 10:05 | No position here, but that is quite strange behavior for a director. Im getting the impression that he intends to sell out completely and if this is the case then he still has over 1.2m shares to go.. | cfro
27/6/2015 07:38 | You would think he'd get his allowance upped, having to sell these small quantities :0) | riggerbeautz
15/6/2015 12:01 | As interceptor2 has pointed out...I think the share sales are not material at all and the red herring is made worse by the fact that the two Dermot Smurfits are easily confused ! I think this company are really doing well and would like to arrange a presentation here in the UK if I can | davidosh
14/6/2015 11:49 | With all the director sells, time to take some off the table. Limited upside in the short term. | rathkum
12/6/2015 16:24 | I agree that it will move into the high 70's soon, but generally, wouldn't a better sign be directors buying at the top of the price run, to show confidence of more to come? I don't blame the directors for locking in some profit after the long run we've had, but can't see any good or bad signs from the sells. | tradingcoder
12/6/2015 15:59 | This will move easily to the high 70's soon. A few director sells went through in the last few days and this is actually a good sign as Directors need to show that they are not selling out at the top of a price run. With those few hundred k shares sold I expect to see this move on another 10p | moorsie2
04/6/2015 07:52 | Nope I dont, merely said I'd been told that by Energyj, (the creator of the R.U.G and R.U.S threads, amongst others). Was on his own forum, he's into charting, me I'm a little bit sceptical as I don't think it always stacks up, but open minded. Just a b.b observation, that's all. | riggerbeautz
03/6/2015 20:00 | u call close on 58p and open at 62p is a gap, really?the 7mil buyer surely knows something, like they did before the trading update, now lets see a gap to £1 on any coming announcements before talking about retrace | paul the octopus
03/6/2015 19:04 | Welcome it is. Been told today, there is a gap to fill on the charts, which means a retrace at some point, myself I'm not so sure charting gaps always get filled. | riggerbeautz
03/6/2015 18:12 | welcome to the 70tiesa similar huge trade went thorugh at 57p just the day before the trading update, insider trading at it beat£1 by xmas | paul the octopus
03/6/2015 16:22 | Noticed a large buy at 14:41, 7.575 million @67p which is 3% of the shares in issue. Should find out who was behind this purchase via RNS imo. Caused a a move into breakout territory. | interceptor2 |
