Surprised no one has commented on how the business reports in Euros which given the EU uncertainty and it's impact on Sterling has led to a fall of over 10% in recent months against the Euro.

Looks a good time to add/come in to me - share price and company performance have diverged. Why would there have been a 90p bid if they didn't think it was worth more (and it involved a company insider)

Wow what a drop! Had this on my watch list a while so perfect point to jump in. Recovered v quickly. Saw a similar thing happen at TTR and just look where that got to afterwards!

there maybe other offers from within the packaging industry it seems to be a decent sector at the moment so if another company came in who knows

pity to see this being taken out as I would have preferred for my investment here to run on for longer.

I cannot see 90p being in shareholders interests - therefore the board will have to say no. But I cannot see MDP paying full price either - so 110 is unlikely in my opinion. 102 possible maybe even 105 at a very big stretch..

With the current price trading over the 90p offer price I think this is a non-starter.



As an investor I think 90p is undervaluing my investment. For this to be taken seriously there needs to be a nice premium for a takeover to take place.

Looks to me like we are going to tick along consolidating a new range. This could be a good pick for 2016 when all settles down and the new business is fully absorbed. Agree with your post Oct 8th Moorsie.

110 is a my estimation of a ceiling until new news of enhanced profits are announced and or a new acquisition

I think getting through the 100 will be a big ask but when it does I think it will follow the trend upwards.

Fair comment Moorsie, they just get lumped in quite a diverse sector I suppose. Anyhow it's holding strong this time, so far. Maybe the prospects will shore up the price without too much of a pullback, certainly looks a steady hold for next year.
