05/10/2015 10:35 | Guys I see no reason to compare this to DS Smith -although in paper their products are entirely different. This company has only 2 main products that neither DS Smith or Smurfit Kappa have. Therefore it is quite unique and valued only on FCF multiples, confidence in uniqueness and ability to earn regular money in future periods and track record of management to find new product acquisitions in other paper based markets | moorsie2
23/9/2015 10:36 | Recut been here a long time, but despite odd bouts of buying this stock has never been mainstream, you can tell by the number of posts on this thread in how many years. However, it was and maybe still is an undervalued sector play, steadily bringing everything together. There are better fundamental posters out there than me, so I'll not pretend to be something I'm not, all I know is it's decent play around results ( done it a few times now) and an equally decent core hold. Sogoesit thanks I think, f.w.i.w personally I hold 20% of what I did a few weeks back, if as previous it dips slightly or consolidates I'll add again, then plan to take more prior to the next set of figures. It's served me well so far. Remember looking at D.S Smith when I bought these first time, compared on sector heat maps, POWR had under performed in share price terms at the time and had some catching up to do. | riggerbeautz
18/9/2015 16:08 | Been in this a while; it's a growth story, both organic and by acquisition. Packaging and retail exposure with its peers doing well too (DS Smith and Mondi). With low interest rates it will continue to do well imho. Good luck riggerbeautz. I'm sure there will eager takers for your stock! | sogoesit
18/9/2015 11:57 | Just recently bought into these and been watching on Level 2, there are quite alot of really big buys every day, 200,000 is not unusual, has it always been like this? as to me this reads serious confidence and instinct tells me its either going to keep rising or something is about to happen. | recut more
17/9/2015 21:16 | Blimey another nice surge, tempting to cash more in tomorrow as markets looking toppy, this is on another post results surge though. | riggerbeautz

11/9/2015 14:33 | Ahh wondered why the sudden mini boost today of all days. Friday on a down day, you wouldn't expect that. | riggerbeautz
11/9/2015 08:13 | Yes, looking good for further upside. Mentioned in Shares Mag today as a continued Buy in their Plays section based on the quicker integration of Corenzo and paying down of debt leaving them ready for further acquisitions: "Higher pricing and the possibility of more acquisitions gives us further confidence ... which is trading on a forward P/E of just 11.3" | sogoesit
08/9/2015 09:30 | great results - integration going very well and warchest ready for the next deal as debt is only at 1 times ebitda. I.e. they could comfortably do a £75 million acquisition from debt and still be on a modest 2.5 times debt to ebitda multiple. Way clear now for over £1 per share | moorsie2
08/9/2015 07:58 | DS Smith trades on 24 x earnings. Let me award this 15 x earnings and it's worth more than 85p today. Good luck! | sogoesit
08/9/2015 07:12 | OK Thanks for the reply. Despite the market gloom, there are some stocks such as this which is resilient. Kind Regards. | commander t
08/9/2015 06:24 | Hi C.T, don't look in everyday, but the amount of "stuff" posted there, well it could be a reason, energyi will surface somewhere....maybe(s Only main results caveat I see is reference to the wider market. | riggerbeautz
08/9/2015 06:10 | Rigger - GEI is down? | commander t
08/9/2015 06:08 | First glance results very good, with the integration of new businesses according to plan. | riggerbeautz
18/8/2015 14:31 | Bad call guys - you may not get a re-entry back in below this price. I am fairly sure that the share price will be more like £1 by Dec | moorsie2
17/8/2015 08:33 | Thanks Intercept I sold too. Same reason. Watching for re entry | petewy
17/8/2015 08:06 | For transparency I think due to my previous bullish comments about POWR, I must inform that I did sell my holdings here on Friday. The trading update was positive in as much as they said that they will be ahead of previous expectations. but when I compared the tone and sentiment between this and May's statement, I felt that the tone was less positive on Friday, with a few unknowns creeping into the wording. Probably just me grabbing a profit too quickly, and hopefully the next results will be strong for shareholders here. I hope the share price continues to the 100p level, and that my decision to sell will prove wrong. Regards ic2... | interceptor2
14/8/2015 10:04 | They've done planned maintainence a few times before, it's a common thing for any manufacturer to do during a holiday shut down. Reckon this will spike just around or shortly after the full numbers come out. It's a good share to add, hold or simply trade, the longer term chart tells the story quite clearly. | riggerbeautz
14/8/2015 09:06 | Expectations of results increased once more with this trading update. All very positive and can see no reason for this now not making it through to the £1 mark in the coming months. Time to top up a few more | moorsie2
14/8/2015 06:52 | Some planned maintenance in the second half but still going to be ahead of expectations despite this. | cfro
14/8/2015 06:40 | Yep, Moorsie your £1 looks o be coming. | riggerbeautz
14/8/2015 06:35 | Yet another ahead of expectations statement! What a great share. | alphabeta4
29/7/2015 12:27 | that was a nice run to 80p, no wonder Henderson taking profits. | paul the octopus
28/7/2015 00:56 | Got your answer now. Profit taking can't be knocked, they have been here sometime and probably just rebalancing portfolio. | riggerbeautz
22/7/2015 09:09 | Moorsie2....Well done. I only came aboard when there was a big seller reported in the media and the fundamentals looked good at 29p in April last year....they have done four big legs upwards since then so it has been an incredible fortuitous opportunity that presented itself. I wonder who the big seller was ? They certainly lost out unless they had a better deal in the making and that is very unlikely ! | davidosh |
