16/8/2016 09:48 | Err edit... With the pounds devaluing against the Euro then these sterling denominated shares are undervalued by a further 15% So a previous high of 95 in December is really an equivalent of 110 today.. | moorsie2
16/8/2016 09:44 | Great results today - showing that all is well! Can see this bouncing back to 85p range | moorsie2
12/8/2016 15:23 | Stockmarket sentiment was dampened by the last trading statement mentioning "encountering less favourable market conditions" There was a trading statement on 14/8/15 so perhaps we will get something soon. | sharw
12/8/2016 14:53 | POWR has had a disappointing run recently that I don't understand. Their fundamentals haven't changed much - it's a sold business that is well run and has been growing. Nothing in the fundamentals has changed by the market has fallen out of love with this share. I hope that the next set of results are a catalyst for renewed interest, if not it could well continue to stagnate...Any thoughts? | commiesy
09/8/2016 18:47 | Hope your right Moorsie, I bought these in the high 90's expecting a breakthrough the £1 barrier. I missed the chance to sell on the drop so anything to close a rather large loss would be great. To be fair, I still see them as a good buy and still contemplating buying more if results are as expected or better. | hopeful holder
03/8/2016 09:01 | Half year results due this month.... I see this once again as a value play and expect it to recorrect sharply once the facts are out | moorsie2
01/7/2016 15:57 | Share under the radar yet to benefit from the move to exporters? Reports in Euros, does well when the dollar strengthens against the Euro, down 10% still post Brexit. | alphabeta4
28/6/2016 20:19 | What a difference a broker makes! I also hold POWR with another broker and although a couple of days later they have had the decency to send me an explanatory note which says inter alia "Please note the proceeds of the Return of Capital has been taxed at 30 percent withholding tax". | sharw
25/6/2016 06:46 | i still think its classed as a dividend | jon123
24/6/2016 21:57 | It was later changed here: | sharw
24/6/2016 20:19 | if u look at the annual results it states it will pay a dividend of 3 cents per share ur broker may call it a return of capital mine called it a cash distribution but the company said dividend n that makes it liable for the withholding tax imho but wtfdik lol | jon123
24/6/2016 17:57 | But this wasn't a dividend - it was a return of capital - does that get a withholding tax as well? | sharw
24/6/2016 17:20 | just checked there's a 30% finland withholding tax on dividends hence the 2 cent a share payout | jon123
24/6/2016 17:18 | i've got mine in euro's but only 2 euro cents per share i'll contact my broker on Monday and ask a few questions | jon123
24/6/2016 12:23 | Anyone received their dividend (technically return of capital)? It is 3 euro cents which I thought was worth about 2.3p prior to yesterday but my broker has credited 1.57p per share. | sharw
08/6/2016 11:25 | This seems to be creeping up again. | shakeypremis
02/6/2016 22:31 | No problem. Thanks anyway. | carltaylor29
02/6/2016 20:49 | Sorry, I don't subscribe either - I skimmed the article in that well-known public reading room W H Smuts. You can read the first two sentences here: | sharw
02/6/2016 20:19 | Thanks Sharw. Any chance you can post the article (i'm not a Shares Magazine subscriber)? | carltaylor29
02/6/2016 18:30 | Nobody taking any notice of Shares magazine - out today with a full page article rating it a buy. They say Numis has reiterated a 105p target giving 40 something % upside which is now 50% at the 70p offer just before today's close. | sharw
02/6/2016 16:36 | What is going on here?? A very quiet morning and then a massive slump in the afternoon .... Any ideas???? | carltaylor29
26/5/2016 21:54 | Evening gents, although not the best results I think in terms of price action leading up to today and the sharp sell off today, this news is factored into the price already. Wouldn't like to see more downside past 72 though! Hope it works out for you all D | doobz
26/5/2016 14:04 | Excuse my ignorance Petewy but how are you calculating the Divi? I make it 3 cents (Euros) x 0.76 (conversion to pounds) = 2.28p. 2.28p/74p = 3% | carltaylor29
26/5/2016 13:22 | If it drops sharply after ex-divi date next week, this could be a point of entry for me. Thanks Carl T I got it wrong. | petewy
26/5/2016 12:44 | Is anyone surprised by the 12% drop? No 'below expectation' comment, 3% Divi coming in a week and was hardly motoring ahead at a 52-week high! Mentioned softening of market but equipped to minimise effect. | carltaylor29 |
