19/1/2016 15:51 | phil, imo it is just a question of time, as the city is making money seeing this slump but there have been no real changes in the companies fortunes that justify the slump to this level. The moment the city slickers decide it is time to cover those shorts the tide will start to turn and we will see it head towards a reasonable level of around £2.The beauty is the volatility provides the opportunity to profit when the bounce comes, even with dead cat bounces. My investment is currently very small here as I am waiting for that turn of tide before investing substantial sums in this business. It will not be a long term hold but I am looking at around 20/25% return here once the change of sentiment changes. | ![]() clocktower
19/1/2016 15:47 | oh dear.. 148p.. So inevitably going to the £ in weeks and months ahead.. Prior to 0p like WLW and all other retail rip offs.. Greater things are yet to come 7 Jan'16 - 21:11 - 74 of 74 0 0 edit Posted "sub 165p" below... Only going down to the iconic £1 a share... to 0p (Price was c 245p at the time) Greater things are yet to come 19 Nov'15 - 10:39 - 735 of 959 0 0 edit lol.. Inevitably in time these will be their self professed gold ticket price. Pound a share.. Ultimately something like a WLW Mark viii.. 5p.. Except Lord AMS wont be buying 5 million poundland shares to try and avoid the eventual inevitable 0p.. Gambler addicts mugs game complaining all the way down whilst racking up compounded paper losses and over time actual cash loss. If the vital 6 weeks Christmas is 'disappointing' which nearly ALL other retailers are starting to see unfold and realise is going to be Reality. Then what share price following early 2016 "trading update".. Sub 165p.. 2016 is NOT going to be a major Boom year for bankrupt Britain with worse recession than 2008/9 inbound.. | greater things are yet to come
19/1/2016 14:06 | Afternoon ct , if it won`t go up on a market day like this there must be a huge overhang. Selling @ 149.5p now Retail in general seems to be so out of favour at the moment. I`d love the directors to show some confidence and start buying a few. I``m still hanging on though ;-) | ![]() philanderer

18/1/2016 20:43 | Telegraph market report: The retail sector had a torrid session as sportswear retailer Sports Direct lost 4.7pc to 390p. On the mid-cap index, JD Sports shed 4.9pc to £10.78. Last week the sector took centre stage as many retailers issued Christmas trading updates, which Chris Beauchamp, of IG, said offered them “some undue bullish attention”. However, “with few trading updates to sustain enthusiasm it looks like the sector overall seems ripe for further drops”, Mr Beauchamp added. J Sainsbury tumbled 1.8pc to 239.5p, while Tesco also lost ground – down 1.8pc to 161.6p. | ![]() philanderer

18/1/2016 13:29 | How can a pound shop be worth more than a pound? How stupid can you get, Poundland is worth more than a pound. Share price is just value of company divided by the number of shares in issue. | ![]() tyranosaurus |
