2 questions I asked Solidcore and their reply.....

Like many UK share holders when Polymetal delisted from the LSE (London Stock Exchange) we had our shareholding materialised into certificate form with the name Polymetal.

Question - With the change of name to Solidcore are the UK share holders still share holders of Solidcore and we have not lost any of our investment in Polymetal?

Reply - "Yes, unchanged, you were a shareholder of Polymetal, you are now a shareholder of Solidcore, same number of shares with a different name."

Question - When Solidcore relists on the LSE will UK share holders with share certificates with the name Polymetal be accepted to be re-digitalised with our stock brokers as Solidcore shares?

Reply - "Too early to call but, in principle, that shouldn't be a problem at all."

Polymetal International plc has changed its name to Solidcore Resources plc (the “Company”;. The decision to rename the company was proposed by the Board of Directors and approved by shareholders at the Annual General Meeting held on 11 June 2024, following the sale of the JSC “PolymetalR21;, which retains its former name. The company will trade under the new ticker symbol ‘CORE’ on the Astana International Exchange (AIX), effective from June 17, 2024.

The name “SolidcoreR21; is formed by the combination of two words: “solid” (meaning “reliable̶1;, “durable”;) and “core” (meaning “basis”, “foundation221;, “essence”;, as well as “core sample” – rock sample extracted during exploration drilling).

“The new name of the Company reflects our core corporate values - reliability, trust, safety, development, and leadership as the fundamental principles in our work”, said Vitaly Nesis, Group Chief Executive Officer.

The asset portfolio of Solidcore Resources plc remains unchanged - Kyzyl (Abay region, Kazakhstan) and Varvara hub (Kostanay region, Kazakhstan). The Company’s largest development project is Ertis POX (Pavlodar region, Kazakhstan) which together with the stay-in-business investment projects require more than US$ 1 billion of CAPEX over the next five years. Production is expected to increase from 475 Koz of GE in 2024 to 510 Koz of GE by 2029.

The further development strategy of Solidcore Resources plc entails business expansion through its own geological exploration and active acquisition of new projects at the exploration/development stage.

“Solidcore Resources plc will actively invest in the expansion of production utilising its industrial expertise developed over two decades and maintaining its high sustainability standards, and best practices of corporate governance”, concluded Vitaly Nesis.

It will still be valid. They probably won't issue new certificates because the number and nominal value of the shares hasn't changed.

James DevlinPutin is no longer interested in victory because it's unsustainable. He wants perpetual war. His very survival depends on Russia being in an endless state of war, with all its draconian laws on society. The man is clearly one sick, deluded human and has been cornered by his own ego. All that's left for him is forever portraying the West as the enemy, forever blaming the West for all his problems, and forever playing the victim. Just like certain deluded clerics in Iran. And all willing to sacrifice their own people to stay in power.... Daily Telegraph

Change of Name

Further to the divestment of the OFAC-sanctioned Russian business, which retained its name of JSC Polymetal, the Company believes it is advisable to change its name and seeks shareholder approval of the new name Solidcore Resources plc.

Dividends

The divestment of the Russian business resulted in significant de-leveraging of the Group and increase in liquidity. However, the Company needs to invest in excess of US$ 1 billion over the medium term in projects in Kazakhstan and Central Asia, most notably the new Ertis POX, and M&A activities in order to achieve its ambitious long-term growth plans, while the geopolitical and macroeconomic environment remains challenging and the access to major sources of debt funding has not been restored yet. In light of this, the Board recommends no payment of dividends for the year ended on 31 December 2023.

For the Putin apologists and Russians, if you support Putin and his War Criminals.... Then you support War crimes and the murder of women and children and babies at the behest of Putin. How do you tell your family and friends and children you actually support War crimes. How do you say you support such evil monsters.

The western plans to steal Russian assets in breach of international law make Putin seem a pretty straight dealer by comparison.

Is it any wonder that central banks throughout the word are looking to buy gold rather than US dollars, and a large part of the world is looking to conduct its trade outside the dollar system?

China must think all its Christmases have come at once.
