Would the killing and injuring of the same % of the Israeli population be risible, Gecko? Or the systematic destruction of the same proportion of Israeli homes, schools, hospitals and infrastructure as the Gazzan?

If so, we need not feel any concern if Syria, Iran, Iraq etc take you at your word! Just a little local brouhaha, derisory casualties and physical destruction, nothing the rest of the world should intervene to stop. Quite reassuring really, no risk of WW3 as the rest of the world can turn a blind eye and let the matter take its course if Israel is attacked.

Applying your logic, we can also stop wringing our hands over 7 October too, and tell Israel to gtow up and recognise that 1000 casualties is nothing much. It is risible to make a fuss about a trivial number like that. That number amounts to no more. than a rounding error when counting the population of Israel. And as for a couple of hundred hostages, you could lose that number in your eye and not notice.

I don't see it your way myself, but its a point of view I suppose.

Wars seem to be opening up on all fronts, or at the very least, grievances are now raging everywhere.

What sad times we live in.

Sadly Because:

1) Egypt hates the Palestinians because they're troublemakers.
As does Jordan which is where these so called Palestinians origins lie.

2) Hamas wouldnt want such an entity to bloom and become self sufficient as it would
end their grip on power.

3) Other Middle Eastern powers dont want there to be peace until Israel is removed.

What is the point of Gaza anyway?

Even before their latest terror attack, Gaza could only survive thanks to 500 truck fulls of free aid every day. It's dysfunctional and unsustainable.

Egypt needs to take back responsibility for the Palestinians, move the border slightly to give Gaza a huge chunk of the barren Sinai dessert. Israel will teach them how to make it bloom and become self sufficient.

Deliberately starving a whole population where half are children is unbelievable.
To such an extent where members of the international community have to air drop and plan to build a port just to get some aid in because Israel simply refuses.
Shameless and barbaric.

Zionists and her supporters seem to forget that their beloved Israel is now officially on trial for genocide at the highest court in the world.
The ICJ agreed with South Africa and stated on record that accusations of genocide are plausible and the bar to reach such conclusion is very high indeed.
But of course international law does not apply to Zionism and the twelve judges have most probably been infiltrated by Hamas and South Africa of course being the legal arm. Silly sausages.

"We are pleased shareholders of Polymetal supported the sale of our Russian business. With the transaction closed and major risks eliminated, we plan to present our new strategy and capital allocation policy in May," group CEO Vitaly Nesis was quoted as saying in Polymetal's press release.

As a result of the deal, Polymetal has deconsolidated $2.20 billion of external net debt, fully settled $1.04 billion of its intragroup liabilities net of tax and received after-tax cash proceeds of $300 million, the company said. Following completion, the group has a net cash position of about $ 130 million.

Following the sale of the Russian business, Polymetal is left with two production facilities in Kazakhstan, Kyzyl and Varvara, as well as the Ertis POX development project. Polymetal's largest shareholders are a consortium of Omani investors led by Omani government-owned fund Mercury Investments International with 23.9%, and BlackRock Inc. with 7.5%.

Genocide - the deliberate and systematic destruction of a group of people because of their ethnicity, nationality, religion, or race....this is what the Israelis are slowly doing to the Palestinians in Gaza over the past 20 years and now even more so.

31,000 killed and 100,000 injured, many of who are innocent women and children = Genocide.

For the past 20 years the Gaza has basically been a concentration camp set up by the Israelis for the 2mln Palestinians.

You have have thought the Israelis would have known better after what they went through during the 1930s and 1940s in Germany.

Agree about the UN.

What is it doing, what can it do, about the genocide in Gaza? The civilian population is being starved as well as bombed and shot. Already over 10% of the ENTIRE POPULATION dead or seriously injured, and the houses, and schools and hospitals reduced to rubble.

It puts the Russian operation into perspective doesn't it? But no Israeli will be hauled up before the Hague Court, and nor wil any Russian.

Satellite pictures capturing the massive expansion of Russian military cemeteries prove the "huge cost" of the Ukraine war for Moscow's army, according to experts. The "startling" pictures show cemeteries linked to elite units such as the Guards Airborne Division, the Guards Motorised Division and the Wagner Mercenary group have all grown substantially in size since the invasion began in February 2022.Although Russia does not provide a death toll for its soldiers, the pictures - provided by Maxar Technologies and obtained by The Sunday Telegraph and National Security News - add weight to Western estimates of significant losses.Images of just one section of Moscow's Tula cemetery, for example, show the numbers of graves have roughly quadrupled between October 2021 and April 2023.The nearby Bogorodskoye cemetery has had a whole new section added during that time, apparently tripling its size. Both are near Ryazan, in western Russia, where units of the 106th Guards Airborne Division are based, according to Maxar, a private US-based satellite company.....Daily Telegraph
