28/11/2018 08:49 | Well Liberum have a target price of £28, which also happen to be the people conducting the buy back. We also had founders sell @ £15.50 prior to the recent guidance upgrade. It might be that the floor sits above that price. | tomleafs
28/11/2018 07:53 | It is the first share repurchase since that trading update on 20th of this month "Plus500, a leading online service provider for trading Contracts for Differences ("CFDs") internationally, is pleased to announce that the strong momentum reported in its Q3 Trading Update issued on 23 October has continued into November to date. Accordingly, the Board believes that the Group's results for the financial year ended 31 December 2018 will be ahead of previous market expectations." So, on the back of that "ahead of market expectations", the floor target has clearly been moved up from 1300p to what? 1450p? 1500p? | metis20
28/11/2018 07:27 | That's really interesting as think previously had all been sub 1300. Implies they see 1420 as still below intrinsic value. | s_a_b
28/11/2018 07:11 | Yesterday's share repurchase at around 1420p First time the repurchase has been above 1300p Aggregate number of ordinary shares of ILS 0.01 each purchased: 10,000 Lowest price paid per share (GBp): 1,418 Highest price paid per share (GBp): 1,420 Just under £900k (excluding expenses) of that initial $10mn has been used to date. | metis20
27/11/2018 18:27 | Got mine in my IG ISA this morning. I gathered all the documents for the tax reclaim earlier today - it took almost three hours to get everything I needed ready, scanned in and emailed off to ESOP. It would be a lot quicker next time but still a load of hassle I don't need! | gettingrichslow
27/11/2018 14:58 | Growth investor I totally agree ref the divi. I will be looking at selling just before ex-div then buy back again come February | andrewclarke99

26/11/2018 18:34 | Initiative Q is an attempt by ex-PayPal guys to create a new payment system instead of credit cards that were designed in the 1950s. The system uses its own currency, the Q, and to get people to start using the system once it's ready they are allocating Qs for free to people that sign up now (the amount drops as more people join - so better to join early). Signing up is free and they only ask for your name and an email address. There's nothing to lose but if this payment system becomes a world leading payment method your Qs can be worth a lot. If you missed getting bitcoin seven years ago, you wouldn't want to miss this. Here is my invite link: This link will stop working once I’m out of invites. Let me know after you registered, because I need to verify you on my end. | bargainbob
26/11/2018 18:27 | My Divi finally arrived sometime this afternoon. | andrewclarke99
26/11/2018 18:04 | BGW, Yes that makes sense. Do you know very approximately how those component parts would be weighted in terms of their importance to PLUS? e.g. is gold a big factor or insignificant? Presumably Fx is a big factor but how big compared to equities? | gettingrichslow
26/11/2018 17:45 | It's not that simple. Higher Vix better, yes, but that's just equities, and US, and some events are disproportionately important. What matters is that daily hi/lo ranges for important markets are great, rather than narrow. If you compose an index of those ranges from equity indices, gold, oil, major FX pairs, you will see that trading conditions were much better in October than September and have been still better since. | bgw1970
26/11/2018 17:42 | Jplus, my understanding is that the VIX reflects the total expected % movement in the markets over the next 30 days, so surely the higher the better? A low number would just mean a few days of calmer markets are likely to come, so that wouldn't benefit PLUS even if the VIX subsequently moved up again... | gettingrichslow
26/11/2018 17:30 | It really doesnt matter. You morons just dont get it | elcapital2018
26/11/2018 17:18 | It's still at 19.4 VIX. You also want Volatility in the VIX price, down 8% is good. | jplus
26/11/2018 15:51 | NYC25, Isn't the VIX down over 8% today though? | gettingrichslow
26/11/2018 14:51 | Dow going crazy over here post thxgiving. Good volatility for these businesses. | nyc25
26/11/2018 13:37 | DeGiro ... paid on the day. | saltraider
26/11/2018 12:54 | Post 16137 - such an interesting analysis... I'm guessing but when there is no dividend payment then payments to accounts aren't delayed? Entertainment from comedians for free. Lol! | sogoesit
26/11/2018 12:30 | Have held these for years..never an issue with the divi......the moron Elcap doing what he does best......being a moron. | gorilla36
