20/4/2018 14:26 | Poolefox- calm down dear. The stock just went up a lot. They might anyway be wrong. Not that I think they are. Note that that valuation is based off the $310m consensus EBIT, not their own number, whatever it may be. | bgw1970
20/4/2018 13:56 | Odey latest factsheet results will be MATERIALLY AHEAD OF MARKET EXPECTATIONS BUY BUY BUY Our top contributor (+3.21%) was our largest position, Plus500. It reported a trading update and results that positively surprised the market in terms of customers added and ARPU generated. Alongside this, we got clarity in the first quarter on the ESMA regulation that will probably be implemented during Q2’18. We continue to believe that appropriate regulation is a good thing in this sector, both for consumers and the stronger companies. In a year where much of the sector struggled, it was good to see Plus500 grow its EPS by 72% and return $200m to shareholders. It was particularly pleasing to see the company pay a larger dividend for 2017 than the entire company was valued at when we took our position at IPO in June 2013. We see results being materially ahead of market expectations on a forward looking basis, and feel that the EV/EBIT multiple of less than 5x for 2018 is inappropriately low. | poolefox
19/4/2018 12:07 | One of the posters reckoned 26/4 but I think historically they just announce a trading update without notice in April certainly some time next week | poolefox
19/4/2018 09:45 | Surprised there hasn't been notice of a Q1 update yet, it was done by the 11th last year. Do they need to give notice for Q1 update? Potentially it will just be announced towards end of April... | michaeljames1
19/4/2018 09:17 | One of the Motley Fool guys said the price could easily increase by 50% from today's levels | poolefox

13/4/2018 08:52 | planelondon, do you have an email address or URL from which the forms can be obtained from ESOP? I tried mailing them with no success. Much appreciated if you can provide, and thanks for the detailed process. | oregano

11/4/2018 22:16 | Probably a silly question, but who are "ESOP", that the form can be obtained from? | alan00
11/4/2018 16:26 | Planelondon - thanks for the details I was messing about with the forms a few weeks back and clarity is welcome.Documents from ESOP indicate they wish to see a statement dated 23rd July from the financial institute indicating the dividend payment. You didn't mention this and presumably it will tighten the timeframe considerably. | noujay
11/4/2018 09:05 | Thanks very much, it sounds like a long winding process to get back 10%! But once you've done it a few times I can imagine the process becomes a lot simpler, so no reason why I shouldn't be sorting it out now. Will get on it, cheers. | michaeljames1
10/4/2018 21:37 | Michaeljames1, Israeli With Holding Tax is 25%. Under the double tax treaty/conventio (DTT) with the UK, you can reclaim 10% of it via ESOP bringing the WHT in line with the DTT of a maximum of 15%. ESOP will pay this directly to your own bank account if the shares are held in a pooled account/nominee/cust You will need: a) statement from broker/nominee/custo b) Completed Israeli Tax Authority form (you obtain it from ESOP); c) HMRC need to sign and stamp the form to confirm you are a UK resident taxpayer, that your tax returns are up to date and you are entitled to reclaim foreign WHT. d) Passport copy or similar ID. There is a limited period in which you are permitted to reclaim the tax and if starts from the Dividend Payment date which is the earliest the reclaim can be processed. Now that I have the process set up, I know exactly the format my broker has to provide the information and I send it to the same person/tax office. The process works well for me now but, I missed three dividends at the beginning of my shareholdship because I could not master the requirements. | planelondon |
