PTEC's stake in Caliente is worth gbp400m, worst case scenario is PTEC sell it back to Caliplay if acaliente win the case and exercise the option to buy.

There's a chunk of value on offer here.I own a few crumbs.

Anything can happen here. we have a potential deal with Flutter,a previous bid from Oz software Aristocrat, a failed bid review from a Hong Kong group TT Bond (latest NED oriental name) and recent big collab set up with moneybags MGM (who have just started promoting on one of their apps BetUK the 'Playtech Live Las Vegas casino dealing room') So I am sure there are people out there looking at the whole package or the part left over which could be active very soon after Flutter strip out SNAIAny of all of above positive 7th long position for March opened

Ongoing dispute with biggest customer Caliplay who are not paying and challenging the call option - that's a big chunk of remaining business and value. In court soon which might trigger a settlement - I imaging there are negotiations going on behind the scenes. So that is also important.

Yeah seems the deal is certain to go through. Would leave Playtech as a software business would should unlock further value. I do not understand how this gift of a share price is still on the table and we are not at £10 a share.

Flutter ' confirms it is in discussions to acquire Snaitech' Strong words & likely to go through, Flutter could easily havesoftened that statement if not v likely, with review/early talks etc etc but did not (turns out Sisal is number 1 by views , Bet365 2nd & SNAI 3rd (SNAI have 1000+ retail) so would be good deal for both & more likely to be approved, if it needs to be)

Seems like a no brainer to buy here. Looks certain the Italian business will be sold as it is a lot of money for Playtech shareholders but buttons for Flutter. Would also leave the rest of the business as a pure tech company would attract a higher multiple. It looks like a huge free lunch as it has its foot in the US software gaming business which again would be buttons for someone to buy out but would be an easy double your money from here?

If you take a very basic breakdown, its estimated that Snaitech generates approximately 50% of revenue, pre offer the rest of the company would be worth around 260p. The offer for Snaitech is 650 + 260, so post deal we should be trading up around 900p. Very simplistic, but gives a rough guide to where we will trade if the deal goes through.

Think the market is being far too stingy at the moment.

Has anyone done a latest belt and braces valuation of the sum of the parts businesses in terms of break up values ? Any idea if the blocking vote from HK is now gone away - not that I can see them being able to block divestistigure of Snai - from memory they bought in around the 6.50+ mark ?

Decent dayInteresting deal this, I understood that Sisal (Flutter) & SNAI were 1 & 2 in the market with each at various times claiming the lead. Presumably Flutter must had had the nod from the regulators or the talk would not have started. The last words of the middle paragraph of the RNS 'to finalise the documentation' sound pretty bullish and imply things are close to a deal Playtech have too much on their plate with studios/gaming/software/US expansion etc to be involved in the sharp end after after offloading TradeTech after a painful wait now SNAI will leave them a big behind the scenes only player and highly desirable. I also wonder if MGM may get involved (see previous post)

Hope not. Why pay a bid premium for a predominantly UK heavily regulated business. The Americas will be the growth engine IMO. I only valued Snaitech at GBP1.2bn so massive upside here today despite the rise. Caliente needs fixing of course. Long and strong!!

If the deal completes they get approximately 650p cash plus the rest of the business, around 50% still in.

It's down to whether the deal will actually complete now.

it's probably worth a flutter a this level given that v basis and that it's a solid co.

I reckon we have about 400p upside still if this deal goes through, the price at the moment assumes the market either isnt pricing it properly or thinks there is a high chance the deal doesnt happen.

74tom - this share has always been super leaky. No surprise there. Have held these for a while - not sure why as they haven’t done much, but only hold a few. Bought when they were paying dividends !!! Pleased with todays rise. What would they do with the money ? Doubt they will return to shareholders. Could be fun days ahead.

Yep, took 613 to 645, should have been more on offer though. Also note shares went into auction at 9.30, 6 mins before the 'exclusive' story was released

Shame about the insider trading from 8am til 9.36 when Kleinman broke the story, an utter disgrace but the perpetrators act with impunity so why wouldn't they do it?
