Ash,

Your call on palladium seems to be coming good. Read today that physical demand from China is strong, probably as jewellers substitute it for expensive platinum. Be interesting to see whether the AIM listing helps to move the price up.

Let's agree to differ on the merits of investing in gold companies. I think the gold bull has hardly even started yet - sentiment still dire and Joe public not on board yet - so am expecting some spectacular gains in selected stocks. With Ben "baloney" Bernanke as the new Fed Chief, I'm confident.

Platinum Price Going seriously in Break Out Mode US$943.50 then US$963.50 toz IMHO!

But still the best Percentage Leverage of All Precious Metals Likely is Palladium (US$171/US$214toz =25.15% ie relative strength IMHO!

Why dont you label some charts in the header with elliottwave counts as you seem to know this approach? Why do you use so many moving averages on charts, what's the benefit of doing this?

A timely report - PLA is in the right place according to the authors and its projects are of the right type. Good! Observations on palladium and future prices interesting too:

I agree about the hedge funds as many IPO miners have tripped up inviting the wolf through the door, long term sticky holders are whats needed to make real progress.

Not a chance of getting anywhere near AU$2.40 by December, knock off AU£2 and you will be closer to the mark in my view. We shall see.

True, rhodium just seems to keep grinding higher regardless of the others, quite amazing. It's a shame I didn't listen when I was told to buy it @ $1400, went for palladium instead. As you say though it will have it's day.

PLA lacking in volume at the moment but will no doubt change as the publicity picks up for it's AIM listing and investors made aware of it's existance.

Any guess/hunch as to what price the listing will take place at?

Yikyak,

I assume you noticed Platinum Close on Friday?

Platinum extremely strong closed on daily high in Futures October PL05V US$930.30 per toz expecting some action in PGM Shares next week with I anticipate a five year chart break out on Platinum quite likely.

Rhodium continues it's five year chart breakout, the laggard currently is Palladium but this must logically change, and if so massive percentage upside from current circa US$200 levels IMO

It is going to be interesting to see how ASX:PLA Opens Sunday Night into Monday Morning!

Enjoy your weekend

Cheers

Ash;)

Wiganer,

Truthfully no not yet I am still researching FCT and find the sector a Minefield versus vested Oil and Gas Interests.

When I have one I will post them, right now power and stupidity outweighs rationale, so I am still looking for the way forwards.

I really love today's Palladium chart however and with the Demand Kickers I see in 2005/6 I feel extremely confident that being a Pd Bull is a sensible move.

If FCT or Diesel Catalytic Converter Demand makes me under estimate the issue, well great bluntly.

At the end of the day I am extremely bullish on Palladium, and some of the reasons I may well prefer not to discuss on a public Bulletin Board.

All IMHO, NAG, DYOR etc

Cheers

Ash:-)
