13/1/2011 19:19 | Another rise today on a small 2.3k trade. Just goes to show the mm's know this is really cheap and they want 19p now to buy any amount. Guys 30p would be cheap come on! | battlebus2
12/1/2011 17:55 | I pressed for an extra statement last year but was told by King there was nothing then to change the outlook provided in the half year report, so it was deemed unnecessary. This year must be different, given the concerns he expressed in Sept. 2010. I will e-mail him shortly. | gilston
11/1/2011 17:15 | Why sell at 14p. The nav is 49p far better to wait it out till phsc comes back to favour. Surely better than taking a loss. | battlebus2
10/1/2011 22:40 | Strange that. Maybe this time we will. Did you contact the company yourself? | battlebus2
10/1/2011 19:04 | No, but they did the year before! | gilston
10/1/2011 17:46 | Don't think they issued one last year did they? | battlebus2
10/1/2011 17:16 | A third quarter trading statement [9 months to end Dec.] would be helpful. I suggest all s/holders e-mail Stephen King accordingly. | gilston
10/1/2011 13:32 | Added some more as this is totally undervalued at mid 14.5p when nav is 49p. Dividend nearing 7% and plans to increase it inline with their progressive dividend policy. New contracts signed that should show in next report. This can't go any lower. | battlebus2
01/1/2011 13:44 | Happy new year to all staff and shareholders of PHSC let 2011 be the year the market recognises the true value of this company. | battlebus2
10/12/2010 07:13 | They have no plans to delist. | battlebus
09/12/2010 22:27 | Looks like this one will either be taken over or de-list. Probably the latter by the looks of it now. | amorruso
27/11/2010 10:46 | Eburne1960 i'm very confident that we will not see a delisting. What they were trying to say was that room for cost savings is probably Limited as the bulk of costs are in the AIM listing. Reading the next two paragraphs shows how undervalued PHSC really is and their commitment to raising dividend payments doesn't sit with delisting. IMV ofcourse! The Board is not recommending payment of an interim dividend (same as last year), but expects to propose an appropriate final dividend at the end of the year. A major strength is our substantial cash reserve. Despite our relatively weak start to the current year, we expect the improvements we have recently seen to carry over to the second half. Our aim is to complete the year with as strong a performance as we can. We look to our investors to continue to support us in the knowledge that we are committed to a progressive dividend policy, and in the belief that our shares are generally undervalued in the marketplace. Net Asset Value As at 30 September 2010, the Company had net assets of GBP5.097m (unaudited) as per these interim accounts. There were 10,381,973 Ordinary Shares in issue at that date which equates to a net asset value (NAV) per share of 49.09p. At 17 pence per share the Ordinary Shares of the Company are currently trading at approximately a 65% discount to the net asset value. WE LOOK TO OUR SHAREHOLDERS TO SUPPORT US! AT THIS PRICE I'LL BE BUYING MORE. | battlebus
26/11/2010 22:26 | I thought this bit was ominous: The Board is looking to see where savings can be made, but recognises many of the costs relate to the AIM listing and necessary associated disciplines. Maybe the price drop reflected fears of a possible future delisting? | eburne1960
26/11/2010 16:00 | micro, problem is there is a sizeable element of goodwill in the nav, so if you net that off it is around 20p realistically, so there is no premium for the business itself in the current share price but with the slightly negative outlook the share price appears to be pricing that in imo | empirestate
26/11/2010 13:05 | Bit of a mixed bag this morning I thought. Lower profit but better second half expected due to - already signed - contracts. Impact of government's forthcoming 'common sense' approach to health and safety likely to be detrimental medium/long term. But for me the bottom line was the nav of 49p. Surprised therefore at the price drop. | microscope
10/11/2010 23:51 | Yes very exciting and very unloved but that will change eventually. | battlebus
10/11/2010 20:38 | Exciting stuff on here eh? Interesting cash rich company with solid balance sheet though. The management seems very low profile though which is a shame as I run my own consultancy too so I know how the industry is at present and the shares should be far higher imo. Could become a takeover target if PHSC goes much lower. Best of luck to all holders on here. | amorruso
03/11/2010 20:03 | Results next in a month. | battlebus
27/10/2010 20:30 | Trouble ahead or just a few sellers on a bad day? | battlebus
29/9/2010 16:52 | Good to hear that as the dividend is vital to ofset the markets low rating. | battlebus
14/9/2010 12:16 | There were also references to the NAV at around 48p per share & to the fact that the institutional VCT investors would expect to see the dividend maintained! | gilston
13/9/2010 17:57 | Thanks for your snipit sounds like a wasted journey for you Gilston i've just about given up on AGM'S. Great news that we are still seeking acquisitions as the 700k is not in the shareprice. What can one say an excellent investment by any standards. | battlebus
13/9/2010 17:27 | AGM was uneventful. The chairman obviously thought the trading statement was as far as he could go. However, he is cautious about the next few months [who is`nt?] but it was made clear that, with net cash of around £700k, no debt & loan facilities still in place, the company will continue to seek earnings enhancement acquisitions. | gilston
09/9/2010 23:21 | Gilston did you get an insight at todays agm. Trading seems to be on course given the downturn. | battlebus
07/9/2010 16:54 | Watch out for the trading statement which the company usually issues just before [or even on] the day of the AGM! | gilston |
