11/11/2011 12:29 | Let`s wait for PHSC interim 6 month figures due end of this month. | gilston
10/11/2011 20:40 | Yes times are certainly tough, Could see a marriage with the likes of Zeta. | battlebus2
10/11/2011 16:21 | Zeta on Plus in similar business area. 'ZETA COMPLIANCE GROUP Plc The Company has made progress in the year with continued revenue growth and seeing The Fire Strategy Company Limited (now Zeta Fire Services) acquired in May 2010, start to make a positive return. What is also being felt though is the reality that extreme pressure on our clients in our existing business has reduced it to near commodity status with a severe impact on pricing. Overall demand has been deferred and reduced. We believe competitors have reacted with very low pricing and/or reducing the quality of their service. Whatever we think, that's a reality today and we don't expect it to reverse. The result in the current financial year is likely to be materially below market expectations....' | microscope
08/9/2011 20:24 | Yeah may sell up myself. | battlebus2
08/9/2011 17:26 | was not that positive. with the uk economy? | dd776
07/9/2011 19:33 | Very good Gilston . | battlebus2
07/9/2011 19:18 | Policies on acquisitions & maintaining the listing on AIM [if that is what you mean by pulling the plug] were reiterated as set out in the Annual Report. Obviously nothing could be said or forecast at this stage for next year`s dividend. But my guess would be that the institutional investors/VCTs need all the income they can get from PHSC to feed their own investors. | gilston
07/9/2011 17:23 | Thanks Gilston was there any talk of buying new companies or making that 10% dividend permanent with all that cash. Hopefully there was no mention of being so dissatisfied with the market they may pull the plug. | battlebus2
07/9/2011 17:10 | All resolutions duly passed &, as today`s statement makes clear, cash preservation is King`s priority. This cash mountain covers a 2p dividend 5x & is alone worth around 10p per share. With tangibles & earnings making up another 10p, King pointed out an share price of 20p represents little more than minimal break up value. He thinks some credit should be given for goodwill on top, which is why he complains the market is undervaluing the company. A current div.yield of 10% reinforces his view! | gilston
07/9/2011 09:21 | Yes it sounds hard going but they are doing all the right things imv. | battlebus2
07/9/2011 09:12 | everything ok, least still in profit | dd776
07/9/2011 07:53 | AGM statement is a mixed bag with cash now at 1 million. Lets hope we may see more special dividends next year. A sensible decision to relocate Envex to ALS and they see some deterioration in areas but ALS has a strong order book of 800 k and should contribute 40k to profits till July. | battlebus2
06/9/2011 19:32 | AGM tomorrow are you heading Gilston? | battlebus2
30/8/2011 12:44 | Either one of their (unquoted) competitors or maybe the likes of Capita if (I'm clutching at straws here) they decide to get into the health & safety market. | eburne1960
30/8/2011 06:04 | which companies do you see as potential purchasers ? | dd776
27/8/2011 19:41 | No, not going to the AGM. I hold, but I can't say I'm terribly enthusiastic about this company. My own gut feeling is that it will probably get taken over by someone for a decent premium, still probably not enough to make me a profit though! :-) | eburne1960
26/8/2011 21:39 | Ah sorry thought you were negative here but reading back i understand. Are you heading to the AGM at all. With a brokers knowledge it's a positive your a holder here. Would you consider adding at these levels. | battlebus2
26/8/2011 21:02 | I think it's fair to say that shares do not always reflect their ex-div status, particularly infrequently traded shares like this one. As a holder, I don't think I've ever posted a negative view on this company, only the worry (now apparently unfounded) that the board might be tempted to take it off AIM. | eburne1960
26/8/2011 17:54 | Yes i know that i've been trading shares for thirty years. My reason for saying x divi was the bid only fell today not wednesday when i was expecting it too. Only glad of the cash atm. Anyhows as a broker is your view still negative on PHSC. | battlebus2
26/8/2011 17:44 | Yes, and the ex-dividend date is always the Wednesday before the register date. Last Wednesday! If you think about it, there has to be a gap between there being a cut-off date for buying the shares and being entitled to the dividend, as share dealings don't settle until the day after dealing. By the way, I am a stockbroker! | eburne1960
26/8/2011 17:40 | Subject to approval at the AGM a total dividend of 2p per ordinary share will be paid on the 23rd of September to shareholders on the register as at the 26th of August 2011. | battlebus2
26/8/2011 17:34 | Don't wish to be pedantic, but it went ex-div on Wednesday! | eburne1960
26/8/2011 16:28 | Went x divi today which explains the 2p fall on the bid. Hope this will become the normal when the company can afford it. Much better than share buybacks. | battlebus2
24/8/2011 05:40 | are they winning new contracts, anyone know anything ? | dd776 |
