News today :

Purchase of own shares

The Company yesterday used its discretionary authority to purchase 25,000
ordinary shares at a price of 43.5 pence per ordinary share and 25,000 ordinary
shares at a price of 43 pence per ordinary share. These 50,000 shares will be
cancelled. The Directors believe that it is appropriate to continue to purchase
shares for cancellation at suitable prices when cash flow permits, and
this will improve earnings per share.

Following their cancellation, PHSC plc will have a total of 11,521,019 Ordinary
Shares in issue. The Company does not hold any shares in treasury.

The company

We are an established consultancy that provides a comprehensive range of health and safety services throughout the UK.

All of our health and safety consultants are flexible and responsive, with direct access to the group's resources. We consistently produce high quality work to reliable standards. Our environmental team can assist with a diverse range of requirements - everything from noise monitoring to applications for the operation of prescribed processes under laws to control industrial pollution.

We spend about 50% of our time providing general consultancy advice, around 30% is devoted to designing and running training courses, and the remainder is used for the production of written material for some of the better known safety publishers.

Good to hear that the company is convinced that it's share price is set to go up & is prepared to back this view with hard cash.

I hope that this is the start of a trend.

Great to see you here Mudbath .If you purchased this am at 47p long term that should be a bargain price. If your interested in another home for your money you could try Zotefoams.I have built up a 50000 stake over the last few months and expect to make atleast 50% in 18 months. The applications for high tech foams have no limits from f1 to Boeing. These new foams bring a greater margin for Zotefoams and profits are beginning to rise.IMHO now is the time to start buying.Anyhow stick it under your radar.ZTF.

Hoping to see the momentum maintained as I have joined the PHSC appreciation society this morning.Busy looking for a few more at the minute. As ever however, with these good value/small caps, stock is difficult to find without bidding the price up too far.
