I've made that point previously, Serge does not have a controlling stake here.

Thanks, M. It's surprising what some old men do want to do. However, your comment about institutional holders is of some comfort so thanks for that.

There are 6 institutional shareholders who hold just under 53% of the shares.
Schroder: 13.1%
FIL: 10.7%
Dan David Foundation: 8.6%
HSBC: 8.5%
Montefiori: 7.0%

They are hardly going to sit back and let Serge take it private at a low ball price. Furthermore, why would Serge want to do that at 78 years of age.

My guess is that he will take it private while price is low.

Nobody is expecting a good result and this thought is already priced in. Any upward movement of share price will depend on what are the sources, if any, for new revenue and strategies for improving revenues from existing sources.

The way I see it the chart is speaking:-

free stock charts from uk.advfn.com

I have drawn in SMA for30, 90 and 180 days. The price is above all 3.
The previous significant resistance was circa 57p. The price is now above this.
The next resistance level is circa 80p
Lowest likely support is circa 49p

So I think from where we are now, 38% up, 15% down

I'd take that as a good binary bet.

Price dropping into half year results but market makers looking to buy way more than they are willing to sell. The results most likely are to be terrible given the shut down just wonder if there will be a line to say they are putting themselves up for sale or Serge is taking them private.

This is looking like a binary bet could easily go 25% either way.

If a vaccination passport is introduced, photos will be needed, though most people do their own these days.

Revenue is going to be drastically reduced.
Need some additional use / functionality for the photobooths.

Any idea when the next set of results will be issued. I contacted IR yesterday but based on previous years they are issued in mid December but they normally issue an RNS in Nov to confirm the date.

When is it going to be PHTMs turn for a monster rise? Lots more stock in sticky hands these days

I doubt Serge is buying all the stock he can lay his hands on at 50-52p because he knows it's worth less than that :-)

My take is that without Serge acting like a backstop and willing to hoover up shares around 50p, this would have drifted much much lower over the last few months.Travel Outlook worsened, impacting photo booth revenue.France, Spain, Ireland, UK second wave and lockdowns impacting trading.Absolutely no trading updates for a while.

Difficult to understand the price movements. It's as though someone was deliberately driving the price down so the boss can load up enough to take it over. Is there a lot of shorting going on. Wouldn't have thought that would be attractive to uninterested parties.

Good article, Skipper.

If only people refrain from selling their shares now, MM won't have any choice but to
mark the price up.

From memory it's a holding over 29.99%, however there are exceptions
through a type of legal agreement.

You would need to ask a corporate lawyer for a detailed answer.

Aim Rules.
Well it seems that if he acquires the 30% threshold after Feb 2021, the cash offer needs to be at the highest price paid over the preceding 12 months, which seems to be about £0.55. Or am I missing something?

You wouldn't if you had bought Horizon at 268.50 in Aug. 2017.
