Do they actually want to buy the whole issue? I get the impression not...they have just tipped the threshold would say forcing a mandatory offer....that's just the way i have read it...am no expert so any comments appreciated, (I hold)

Unless a majority block the offer, yes there is! The question is, how do other holders here feel about it? In this case, it is literally only a couple of hundred quid lost for my kids if it goes ahead, so hardly ruinous - but it is the principle.

There’s no obligation to accept an offer.

Quite annoyed about the lack of real premium, to be honest. Not a holder personally as such, but bought a few for my kids a couple of years ago, averaged down some with the 2020 crash - but still going to be locking in a small loss for them with this meager offer.
I might expect something like this from a dodgy AIM outfit, but not this company. Having held and added during that bleak window, it was gratifying to see the company seemingly back on track recently...which it obviously is with this move.
Screwing loyal shareholders is how I feel about this. Oh well, such is life. Hope not too many other small PI's have been stuffed with this announcement.

Not exactly a great premium to yesterday's closing price is it?

essential, at the end of the day the news is always out before the market opens so whether it was posted on here or not it would not make a difference to the share price Very rarely do subscribers get any advantage over the rest of the market. The only difference that wasp has made to this thread and shareholders on here is that we know the reason for the share price movement

No it's not. Subscribers pay for the information and deserve the chance to buy the shares before non-subscribers.

wasp don't apologise. That is exactly what this board is here for. Thanks for the info. Just sold(rightly or wrongly) the shares that I averaged with in November

I do apologise for the heads up, I only posted on PHTM board assuming everyone here is a holder like myself, however, guilty as charged and it won't happen again.
