13.5 million sell at 1.55p. That's not PI money. Told you all its either a placing which is a completely local UK event nothing to do with Russian sanctions or a major shareholder is selling. This can go either way. There is talk of a possible sale of the assets. It might be positive for shareholders it might not be. McColl's had its assets purchased but where are the shares today.

This prob fits in with Zelensky's statement that the only way to end this conflict is a deal. pog will take off on a deal, agree with 8-10 but we could see much higher as UMMC seem very interested in the company. alresdy increased stake and its reported this mornjng that they may make a bid for pog's gold assets.

Article in Vedemosti, unfortunately behind a paywall, which does headline that now they can sell gold again they can pay their debts without any asset sales. Think gold has bottomed now and will be moving up aggressively, certainly needs to if this high risk, high reward play is to work out.

Don't rule out a placing on home soil to bolster their finances. The 1.50s look like a placing to me or a major shareholder dumping stock but the shares at 1.50 are coming from a single source.

P White gpb have waivered their right to having exclusitivity on the gold and transferred the debt to Nordic apparently a company based in Moscow according to the rns they are selling gold to third parties.

GPB has issued waivers of its offtaker rights such that Petropavlovsk has been able to sell gold to third parties, and the Group has identified new buyers as well as applied for a gold export licence.

Know they are being stopped from exporting at the moment and sanctions prevent them taking cash out of Russia but what stops them selling the gold in say Rubles then transferring to Yuan?

If Nordic LLC is not on the list of sanctions and not associated with Gazprombank then POG may be able to pay them without being in breach of the sanction rules. Although the rules clearly state third parties are included in the sanctions if linked to the sanctioned company.
