Spacedust ... sir.. You are going to lose everything if you are not careful.

I hope and pray you have investments (investments mark you... not coin tosses) elsewhere.

Yes, unfortunately a lot can change in a day. POG would need to be incorporated in Russia to avoid the sanctions.

Disaster

Shares are now down 70% in 2 weeks. Will challenge the 1p threshold soon

"But shares cannot go under 1p?!" I hear everyone say. Yes they can. You watch

Huge buying opportunity here !Lot's of businesses will be faced with similar need for work arounds. I'm sure the Russian's will be working out the right mechanisms. Chinese and Indians and Indian certainly like buying gold and they have signed massive oil deals just recently with Moscow. POG still has all that gold and gold is near record highs. No problem.

Gold is going over $2,000. Pre-war and border tension prices and then 20p+ once this settles down and market regains confidence in operating performance and macro risk. Alas, POG will soon get bought if it remains mispriced.Good luck

There will be a work around here I believe and a tremendous return for holders. Gold is gold and will continue to be mined and stockpiled. There will no doubt be a standstill agreement made with the bank and operations will continue. The gold in part can be sold elsewhere - China/ India for example.Pretty sure Putin is nearing the end of his desire to have Russian Troops in Ukraine and a peace deal will be signed off.

I don't think it will be a problem repaying debt, just a problem getting debt.

At least you’re consistent with your view!

I can’t see any other option than to delist from LSE. Why give yourself a massive logistical nightmare when you would be able to operate normally and sell gold to GPB if you focus solely on MOEX. I’m probably more underwater than almost anybody else on here, but GPB sanction has left the company with no other option. Stupid thing is that it will continue to supply and ‘support the regime’, just Boris will look good, having screwed UK shareholders in the process.

They are producing Gold full stop To find a buyer I easy as the demand for gold will always remain India China Rest of the world This will allow POG to break free from Russian jurisdiction and today's news presents a fantastic opportunity to buy more on any dips You need to understand that this is a cash cow - gold producing business Buyers for Gold will be easy to find Patience and accumulate!!

Digby.
Ukraine is known in certain circles for modern day slavery/people trafficking.
Russia is uncovering many secrets that will be shocking when revealed.
You are on the wrong side of history.
Ignorance is no excuse.
And no i'm not a POG holder.

The problems are the loan 'defaults' and the resulting actions and costs incurred until the gold can be sold. That could be a while. Hopefully they can arrange something pronto.

Not that badTodayNot bothering trading this one today. Long term may even add if it drops to 1.52p or below but doubtful.Just because 'right now' there's a temp sanction which prohibits the Gold offtake, there's actually no stopping gold production. They could stockpile the gold and eventually sell it, perhaps even for higher gold prices. None the less still a producing mine for a fraction of the market cap it should be. Can mm's drag it lower that much? Maybe to scare some weak holders and I guarantee many will be scared and jumping ship for a loss instead of waiting 2 weeksNot the best RNS but could have been worse

GPB's designation under the Regulations for the purposes of an asset freeze prohibits further sales of gold by the Group to GPB at present, and restrictions on purchasing and selling gold in Russia may make it challenging to find an alternative purchaser for the Group's gold output. The Company also notes that an interest payment of US$560,000 is due to be paid today under the Term Loan; however, the Company is currently prohibited from making such payment under the Regulations

Interesting to see the banks reaction when the 560k payment does not arrive
