Yes,it did not go up past 38.50 aprox. so it did not break out.

I am thinking of a high of 33 to 35.5 or so tomorrow if it does not break the downward trend with a decent contract or burnt out shorters. :-)

The two previous lows were 402 aprox and then 428

The shorters failed to push this below about 430.55 at 9am and 430.09 at close,yesterday so you could be right.

An RNS announcement of a meaningful contract would help,of course.

Just happy sitting on these, awaiting further news flow, in the meantime collecting divi soon, elsewhere IMM going great, added loads more (UKOG)on the pull back, and ahead of flow test results,especially after written off JOG, is +275% after a huge discovery and that was offshore!

How do you know what that trade was? A buy - or sell - of that size would be delayed, you can't rely on the ADvFN guesses.

At 438 or so,now it is just within the short term downward trend still.

I am thinking that if this goes to 441 or so,then it will have broken the trend and continue up higher today but we will see soon.

Otherwise,it should fall back down below 430.

The shorters must have slept in this morning.

Disclosed short positions.

With the completion of the Wood Group - Amec deal, I think AQR's short position in Wood Group should largely disappear (offset by the Wood Group shares issued to AMEC shareholders), leaving its Petrofac position as the real standout (in terms of % of shorted company) in its portfolio.
