Surely not long before the next contract award, along with strong oil prices, that would really send the share price substantially higher!

Brent seems nicely settled above 60.

Producers will start to consider investemnt in projects if this holds for some weeks.

and psychologically will be important for sentiment.

It’s just a buy/add close to 400p support, positive reaction higher but could do with a substantive contract award to really push through 460p, othwerise stuck in a trading range.

I'm still enjoying the dividend paid here just this past week, and I'm looking forward to the next dividend in April next year probably. Good luck to shorters etc, feel free to take the share price down to 100p if you want. I'm holding medium to long-term here and I know the share price is a bouncer. The horizon for this share price is very bright, and we are lucky to have bought these at these prices.

Once these points have been addressed the price will rise. Until then it's a black or red gamble.

Wow Lodge, have the new anti-depressants kicked in at last?
It's not undervalued. The current price reflects the information currently in the wild.
The fraud office said it is investigating the activities of Petrofac, its subsidiaries, and their officers, employees and agents for suspected bribery, corruption and money laundering.

It has questioned chief executive Ayman Asfari and chief operating officer Marwan Chedid as part of the ongoing probe. They were released without charge but Mr Chedid has since been suspended.

Monaco-based Unaoil became the subject of investigations in March 2016 amid allegations that it had paid bribes on behalf of oil companies. Unaoil denies the allegations.

I don't particularly see it as a gamble. If they have to pay a fine it will be spread over several years and won't be anywhere near what's been wiped off the MC. If they have nothing to answer then fine too. Either way it's ridcuously undervalued right now, SFO or not.

PFC need to seek a resolution to the SFO investigation at the earliest opportunity. Currently, it is acting as a drag anchor to the share price. Overcome that and the company value will increase taking the share price with it. As a long term investment it's a gamble, as a short term trading share it's a nice little earner.

Very weak at the moment. "They" are looking to take out the June low. The algos and HFT's will just keep pinging away until some fund or other starts taking a big contrarian position. AQR and Black Rock appear to be reducing, but they might just get back in on any rise. Market sees this share at around £4.00 at the moment. Day trade £4.00 to £4.16, or hold for the ultimate recovery.
When a stock is as as beat up as this one, it doesn't suffer as much as others when the markets undergo a sharp correction.

don't forget that a dividend has been paid since £4 was last seen. something to factor in.. also oil price is hitting resistance and maybe be in for a pull back anytime. not that share price tracks oil that much if at all.

Look at the Petrofac streaming chart today!

It seems to me that this is the most prolonged attack by the shorters on the 400 support that we have seen yet.

They have been at it for days and days.

402 or less tomorrow morning?

Repent,the end is nigh. :-)

Adejuk,

Thank you, for all the information on shares to consider day trading.

I am holding plenty of Lloyds but I had not thought of day trading it.

I will have a look at the shares you have mentioned.

Thanks.
