03/10/2017 09:53 | Maitrix, Relax,I am looking at the day, charts, week charts etc. I will have to look at these damned bollinger what nots. I am buying, not selling when the price drops. Leave it with me. | cinquepercento
03/10/2017 09:47 | LOL, Cinquepercento. You are supposed to be looking at Charts, not reading news, my friend. (investing.com).Righ Delete APPL, put PFC. Look on the top bar and go to something looking like stairs on the right, top bar. Click on that and then go to Bollinger Bands,MACD and RSI.I use candle sticks. That will give you a six months Chart, could be a year.(Bad hangover this morning). Move to the bottom and click on the one day or one week chart. You are making my brain work hard, after a heavy night out !! LOL. I am no good at teaching, just don't sell PFC. Has any broker been right?? Broker tips is a big NO. Check out RED and TAP and many more. Invest and stop gambling.Always DYOR.ATB. | matrix25

02/10/2017 15:32 | Maitrix25. Re:Information the other day on trading: Thank you very much. I will read up on it. It will take me a while to understand it but I will certainly make a start on that. | cinquepercento
02/10/2017 14:48 | Matrix, Out of curiosity what interval value are you using on RSI. Are you using the standard 14 or 9 day or something shorter. I am trying to work with TA more and more, so always interested in other people's set-ups. | monions01
02/10/2017 13:55 | Cinquepercento. I passed a lot of information for you to use a few days ago. I used investing.com and the Chart told me when to buy in. RSI is a very good indicator. Over 70 is overbought and under 30 is oversold. When I bought in today, the RSI on the one day Chart was below 30. All the information is there to use. I use the Bollinger Bands,MACD and the RSI. You need to read up on these please. TA workes. Take my word on it. Wishing everyone luck. Everyone to their owen. ATB. | matrix25
02/10/2017 13:37 | Stoxx67. I use TA on (investing.com).It is very good for Charting. It is also free. No I don't always manage to buy at the bottom or sell at the top, though I try my best to achive that.More a gut feeling and luck and a bit of TA. I hope this helps. I also don't use a stop loss either.I try to have a bit of patience, if I can.I don't trade my core holding of 15K shares. ATB. | matrix25
02/10/2017 13:17 | matrix25 do you always purchase at THE bottom? and sell at THE top? if so we would very much like to hear how it is achieved. at some stage one has to purchase shares that are moving down , with a stop loss, in anticipation of the stock hitting support or a fib level. a stock can always become cheaper or indeed more expensive, one has to decide at some stage to get involved and that is VERY rarely at the absolute bottom. also it is not always shorters that bring a share down, the path of least resistance for any stock is DOWN as without demand the price will not, all things remaining equal, rise. | stoxx67
02/10/2017 13:09 | It is 3PM where I am Cinquepercento, so good afternoon. Trend is your friend they say. I just bought 1K shares @£4.4085. See how far the Shorters bring it down and I will top up some more. Have a good day all. | matrix25
02/10/2017 13:05 | Good Morning,Mr Matrix25. Re: Why would I buy a share which is still dropping? Because I do not know for sure that this share will continue to drop nor where the low will be. So I am buying a few from time to time on the way down as a sort of hedging or insurance policy. When it turns,I can hold onto the expensive shares and sell the cheap ones to make a profit. | cinquepercento
02/10/2017 12:19 | LOL....... :o) Short Positin 7.95%. Mr 5% Why would you buy a share going downwards?? Some times cheaper can get even cheaper !! | matrix25
02/10/2017 12:03 | Quite a few Mystic Megs on here. None of you know ya tw@ts! | lodgeview
02/10/2017 12:01 | I think that the bottom must be 400 at the lowest but I don't think that it will get that low. This could turn around at any time so I am buying it from time to time on the way down. | cinquepercento
02/10/2017 11:56 | Yes I think we may get it. I am talking about 440 or lower. I want 430-432 | vk74
02/10/2017 11:55 | I know (TRIN) is the one to be one, 30%+ for me so far but holding long term. Dyor as usual. Will add more if any cheaper but want to see 435p hold | ny boy |
