Could someone please remind me what the approx. sterling equivalent of the div. is. Am curious to know whether the share price has dropped more than that.

I have cancelled my sell order originally set for 460p having purchased these weeks ago at 446p and 450p. . At the current prices, this is a share to buy and hold for at least a year or two. I'm no longer trading these, will be holding medium term until after the SFO decision is reached next year. I expect this share to bounce back to its dizzying heights of 800p after the SFO decision is done and dusted. I have got almost £50k invested here, putting all my eggs in one basket.

GLA ATB etc etc.

Disclosed shorts

Yes, Old Mutual went below the radar yesterday.

They actually dropped only 0.1% (from 0.59% to 0.49%) but because the FCA spreadsheet only tracks positions above 0.5% the impact is to reduce the running total of current disclosed shorts by the full 0.59%.

Shorts decreasing further now. Now at 7.96% having been at 8.55% yesterday

Think it was old mutual going below 0.5%

Beacause they don't want to be locked in to wait for the dividend so they sell now on this rise and buy back in on ex divi day. They hope PFC will rise 9p quicker in the real world than waiting for the divi to be paid.

Critical time right now. Will it push north to a 456-458 finish?Or will it tumble back to 446 under profit taking?

Not bothered about small sellers, the dips are being bought Lets see how the oil price goes after the latest data, on our way to test 480p if oil data is positive.

(VLS) is flying, very good move underway, to 90p dyor as usual.

You have to think out of the box - poss to do with tax thresholds :-)

Or perhaps they're just traders?

I am perplexed to see so many small sellers 24 hours ahead of ex-Div day! Why would they do that??

Yup if they get it right of course they will because they are playing with a great deal more money than you or I. But just as I don`t always get it right nor do they...See Mr Odey. Most of us longs here are betting against the ii that are short....That`s just how it is, atm with going long PFC from around or after MAY `17

I bet you I made more than Crispin with TLW in `15/16...Just saying like.
IMO
