Good Morning to you and to other early birds here.

Re:Jumping the gun and keeping powder dry.
I appreciate you sharing your experience and knowledge of the stock market with me and others here and you are the one making money.

I hope that you agree with me that we will get another contract announcement sooner or later so I will recover my money.

Re:buying a 1/3 amount only,I don't think that I said in my posts, how much Petro I bought this time but you were right.I bought £30k again.

However,I could have chosen to resell it within 30 minutes or so for 439 and made a quick profit of £275 but I chose not to.

As you know,it had tested the support twice at around 434.5 and the resistance once at about 439 and it appeared to be on its way back up to test the resistance again but it never got there.

I will try to resist buying more unless it really plumbs the depths.

I need to practise what you and I preach.

Cinquepercento.
You jump the gun to fast. Had you waited you would have done better.
Always buy a 1/3 amount and watch what the share price does during the rest of the day and keep dry powder handy, always.

ob123. Was that question directed at me??

Adejuk you will do OK.

Also just by knowing the date of x div means your opinion carries weight. You do make me chuckle.

Seeing as how you didn't know when the ex-dividend date is, and thus had no clue as to why the 'drop' today, I guess your opinion doesn't carry much weight, torres10!!

All good Gary, reaped some large profits in GVC. Patiently waiting to get back in there. Nice trading here in PFC while I await the next upwards jump. Got a lot of cash awaiting on the sidelines.

I sold before the ex-d and have bought back in at a nicely lower price today. So I have an enhanced divi already in my pocket. Ta.

It looks as if the support of 435 or so is about to be tested for the third time.

If it holds, then I suppose that it will be back up to try the 439 resistance again.

435 support has not held so it should go below 430 unless people start buying back in before close for tomorrow.

Back up to 439 or so.

I could sell for a couple of hundred profit right now for 30 minutes work but I will probably hold.
